"We had floors that needed a good cleaning. I hired Lorenzo because he seemed to know how to clean the saltillo tiles and grout. I had hired someone previously who did a poor job, even scraped the tiles that I had to stain later. But Lorenzo did a great job. He was helpful and didn't leave until he knew I was satisfied with all my tiles. I would recommend him to others and I plan to hire him again next year to keep my floors clean and shiny."

"Rob and Ron came out and cleaned our travertine. They did an excellent job. We first met with Paris and Fabian who were very personable and friendly. They were honest about the work and fees and followed up with the two guys Rob and Ron who did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking grout cleaning"

"I️ received a quick response back! Very accommodating to my schedule which was greatly appreciated. The grout was is a sorry state and now looks great. The tile floors were disgusting-I️ don’t think there had ever been cleaned and now they look new. Brandy and Carlos are meticulous in their work. I️ would definitely hire them again."

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

You should plan to reseal the grout in your shower every one or two years, depending on how often your household uses the shower. Resealing shower grout costs around $200, but it will help extend the lifetime of your shower and freshen it up without having to go through the entire process of regrouting your tile shower. If you have a custom shower enclosure with grout between tiles on the floor, that grout should be resealed more often due to increased wear—once every six months might be necessary.

You shouldn’t add new grout over grout that’s broken, cracked, or crumbling. If you do, the new layer might not adhere properly to the old one, and you could end up with even more grout issues. Plus, if you don’t remove the damaged grout, you’ll be ignoring whatever underlying problem initially caused the grout to crack, which could lead to more serious issues down the line.

If left to dry on tile, grout sealer can have a glossy or hazy appearance. You won’t be able to remove it with water or any basic cleaner; instead, you’ll likely need the help of a chemical stripper to get it off. It’s best to keep a watchful eye on your work while you’re applying the grout sealer, as it’s easy to remove with a cloth or sponge when it’s still wet.

There are a few ways to remove calcium buildup in your pipes, but the most natural option involves vinegar, baking soda, and boiling water. To use this method, pour 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain you're trying to clear, then follow it up with 1/2 cup of baking soda. Place a rag over the drain to create a light seal and leave it for 30 minutes. Remove the rag, then pour a pot of boiling water into the drain. After the water drains, wipe everything down with a sponge.

When cleaning porcelain tiles, avoid products that contain ammonia, bleach, and other harsh chemicals. Acid-based cleansers can damage the tile, though you can clean them with a diluted mixture of one-quarter cup white vinegar mixed with one gallon of hot water. It is important always to use a soft-bristled brush or sponge, since hard bristles and steel wool can scratch the tile.
