Although full payment was made at that time, the contractors promised to return with additional materials to finish the job but never did. Additionally, an invoice was only issued upon request and it revealed discrepancies; it included charges for work that was not completed, and some items were billed twice. Furthermore, a subsequent estimate to complete the remaining 20% of the work was quoted at $950, which was unexpectedly $100 higher than the total already paid. This increase was largely due to $450 in travel charges that were not anticipated, as the contractors had sufficient time to complete the job during the initial visit but failed to do so for unclear reasons. LIAR AND THIEFS I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with this company NICK the one who promised me stuff on my set of blueprints the company never did and when I told them they never held up to their agreement I was supposed to get a full set of big prints now they want to charge me extra 500 to send them when I can get it way cheaper are you ridiculous I’ve all ready paid 7000 and that I never got quoted I was quoted 4000 and then they hit me an extra 3000 grand nothing but headaches and problems with them no communication or nothing and all I got was a bunch of lies and broken promises and never knew who I was gonna speak to the next time I called my project kept getting handed off I’m hoping when I take these to my county they don’t laugh at me AND IM TALKING TO A LAWYER"

"Tom's Garage Doors responded to my request within 20 minutes. They were at the house within 1 hour and gave me an estimate with a couple different options. They actually suggested less work than I had requested. However, I did want a new garage door so we moved ahead with that. The price was very reasonable. What they quoted to me was the final amount that I paid. We communicated mostly via text and they texted with me into the evening. They were friendly, professional and efficient. They were back to the hose the following Saturday and completed the work in less than 2 hours with all the options we discussed. The installation crew was also awesome. When they left everything was cleaned up spotlessly and everything worked like a charm. I would 100% recommend these guys."
