Customers say: True professional

"The epoxy garage floor is top quality and all the staff were professional and great to work with! They went over and beyond and made excellent suggestions on things I hadn't thought about. For examples, where to stop and start the epoxy (e.g. by the garage door and concrete step strip bordering the walls), how to deal with installation in the cold weather, ventilation, how to get the best result, etc. Love the result and we have already recommended them to others. Whenever anyone comes over to the house, I take them out into the garage and show them. People have remarked "it is like an inside room", "my husband would be so jealous of this garage", "I need to do this", "it looks great", "really nice"! The only reason I did not give them all 5 stars is there were some marks and small gouges in the garage walls after the work was done. I'm picky. Work was done on schedule and as promised. Everyone was completely reliable and pleasant to work. with."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Commonly used in garages, epoxy is a synthetic resin coating that goes over the top of concrete surfaces. If you’re deciding between polished concrete and epoxy flooring, the best choice depends on your needs and personal preference. Epoxy is durable and highly customizable, while polished concrete tends to require less maintenance. They’re both long-lasting with similar price points, and professional installation is recommended for each.

Mix the resurfacer into a sticky mixture. The consistency should look like mashed potatoes. Use a squeegee to push the resurfacer across the pitted area and smoothen the surface with a cement trowel flush. Make sure you protect any expansion joints with a weather strip. Alternatively, cut out any resurfacer that touched the joint once the mixture begins to harden.

In most cases, yes, sealing concrete will stop spalling. However, it’s not a perfect solution—it may only delay spalling. Call your local concrete repair contractor for quotes on the best sealing options to prevent spalling.

DIY is possible for small areas. Professional installation ensures proper leveling and finishing for durability.

Yes, you can seal an old concrete floor as long as you remove stains and repair damage before sealing. Remove everything from the garage and clear the floor throughout with a concrete cleaner and power washing. Fill in cracks larger than 1/8 of an inch wide and remove all grease and rust stains before sealing. Make sure your concrete is fully dried before applying sealer.
