The experience with the Teak & Hardwood owner Jeff was terrific with his responsiveness, ordering our specialty flooring and coordinating the work. Teak & Hardwood ordered and installed new floors and refinished old floors and they look fantastic. We had a 2 person wood floor installation team and 2 person refinishing team. All the employees were skilled, professional, thoughtful, detailed and did excellent work. They consulted with me on important preference decisions, provided great knowledge and advice, and were super at cleaning up. They were able to do a perfect match of new flooring to our older wood floors they refinished. Our floors look so much more gorgeous than I could have imagined! I highly recommend Teak & Hardwood.

We have wood floors throughout most of our house connecting to the 2 rooms under consideration.We could not obtain the same material as the original manufacturer Anderson had been sold and the wood was not available Jeff did the research and came up with a wood that was from a different manufacturer but matched pretty close to what we had The work commenced on time and the installer was excellent.Everything was done neatly,professionally  and courteously and to our complete satisfaction.The work was completed on schedule as promised

The communication was easy and the price was right. They did an excellent job with the floor installation. The crew was professional and they are very detail oriented. The final work looks flawless. Every now and then I look at the floor and think Wow! how did they make it so nice and smooth! 
I'm so glad I chose Teak and Hardwood Floors. I will use them again if I ever need flooring work done.

The crew did an excellent job.  The details, around the baseboards, fireplace, toilet, kitchen and pantry were all very finely done.  The old worn spots were good as new, and the couple of places we had some warping of boards due to a water leak, were all smoothed out, so that now it looks like it never happened!  Jeff worked very well with us and gave us samples of the stains and finishes, both oil based and water based, as it would look on our floor.

The owner Jeff was present throughout the process and was thorough and detailed. The work done turned out perfectly and looks amazing.

From initial contact to the end of installation, Teak and Hardwood were courteous and professional. The job was on schedule and on budget, with excellent quality.
Jeff came to our home for the initial estimate and prepared a quote that was clear and detailed. All areas were measured, and all installation considerations were made clear. The areas of demolition were also detailed as to what would happen.
We selected two types of wood for our installation - pegged oak to match an older adjoining floor and Walnut for the rest. The team had to hand match the older floor and did such a good job that is impossible to tell where the old floor ends and the new begins.
The walnut that they installed was carefully matched for beauty and has a luminous quality. Throughout the process Jeff was responsive and reassuring.

I found out about this company from some friends whose floors I admired.Teak and Hardwood did a great job of refurbishing the hardwood floors in my house. The floors had always been covered by carpet, but there were numerous areas that had sustained water damage over the years. Teak and Hardwood replaced the damaged areas to match seemlessly with the existing floors. They also refinished everything until the floors looked brand new. There is no way you can tell which part is new and which part is the original wood. The floors in the dining room are parquet and they were particularly scratched and damaged. I never thought they would look that good, but they are gorgeous now. Jeff was very professional and went out of his way to make sure our floors looked great and we had a good experience, even going so far as to stop by a week or so later to see how we liked the floors. The whole crew was efficient and got right to work every day. They have also provided a lot of help and advice on caring for the floors after the job was done by answering questions that I have about maintenance. I would definitely use Teak and Hardwood again and would recomend them to anyone.

Teak and Hardwood were professional from our original inquiry and meeting all the way through the walkthrough after the job was completed. Jeff was responsive to every question and patiently helpful given our remedial comprehension of different wood types available versus the needs we had. They installed beautiful flooring throughout at least 1600 square feet of our home across multiple rooms. Not one flaw. We recommend them to anyone looking for a job well executed.

After too many years of cleaning and recleaning our carpet it was time to move to new carpeting, tile or flooring. We reviewed a number of suppliers online before we joined Angie's List. From Angie, I visited and talked briefly with several contractors before making an appointment to have my wife join me and meet with Jeff. Unfortunately, Jeff was not available to meet on that Saturday but his Dad, who founded the business many years ago was available. 'Dad' answered all of our questions with straight-forward details and knowledge of the products we were considering. So Monday we started the process by ordering the materials.
The flooring arrived ahead of schedule which we were not able to take advantage of both because Jeff's crews were busy and we had other commitments. But we started on a Friday with demolition and some initial installation. They offered to work over the weekend but it did not fit our schedule so they cam back on Monday and finished on Tuesday, three days work as promised.
I have been participated in many projects over the years, some involving large scopes of work and others fairly minor and direct. Rarely, do projects, when finished, exceed the expectation. Most projects accomplish what was intended, but rarely do they exceed the goals. I'm comfortable saying this was one of those that exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for a better process and final result.
The product we chose, an Ash from Kahrs of Sweden is excellent. But the installation was superb. I'm an analytic and engineer by temperament and education and I was fascinated by how experienced and easily the installers were able to handle some odd angles, tight spaces and some just plain difficult spots. They were able to handle these because of their years of experience and knowledge of how to use the product.
This was an installation on the ground floor of a small house including kitchen, dining area and living room. This project went so well we are considering having the whole house, upstairs and stairwell, done also. If we decide to I doubt I will look beyond Teak and Hardwood Floors for the installer.

I hired this company to refinish some very old floors that were very
beat up. The job they did was phenomenal, the floors look perfect.

They installed approximately 1,000 square feet of new, prefinished Hickory hardwood throughout my home. Jeff showed up on time to give me the estimate. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. The employees cleaned up as they left and the price was right on target with Jeff’s estimate. The floors are beautiful and the installation is perfect. Very happy overall.

This team of perfectionists is who you want to handle your floors. I shopped around at different floor stores in town, and was impressed with the low-pressure but highly knowledgable staff. Project was done on time and they were happy to work within my budget.

I don't think I can provide enough praise for Jeff and his team at Teak and Harwood Floors!!! By far the most professional, courteous, and pleasant company I have ever worked with. From day one I was impressed with Jeff's attention to detail when he came to our place for an estimate. Within 24 hrs he had a fully laid out estimate with photos that had been modified to highlight his specific concerns and he gave a very detailed cost breakdown providing us with numerous options. Him doing all this work on an estimate told me that he was the right person for the job!! Since we live out of town and this is a rental our biggest concern with anybody doing work there was that it would get done properly and on time. Well Jeff is an amazing communicator (whether via phone or email) and was very quick to provide us with almost daily updates in the form of voicemails or emails (with lots of photos). If he encountered an issue that was of major concern he would always call first to get our input, instead of plowing though the job. Because of his attention to detail and amazing workmanship we had no problem going with his suggestions.
In record time Jeff and his team were able to take a very worn-out, tired looking floor and transform it into something unbelievable!!!!! These floors looked so new and brilliant I thought I had walked into a different house at first. WOW!! And the and quot;pies de resistanceand quot; was the overall cost. The final bill was not mind boggling. It was so reasonably priced. Other estimates that we had received didn't even come close to what Jeff was able to provide.
We are planning on getting more rental properties and I guarantee you that Jeff and his team will be the only ones working on our floors in the future. We have already recommended him to our Realtor, who by the way say the original condition of the floors and was flabbergasted.
If you have floors that need some or a lot of TLC then the gang at Teak and Hardwood Floors are your go-to-people. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

It was easy to get appointments to see the selection of flooring materials and types. I never felt rushed to select a product or spend more than my budget allowed. I described the style of floor I wanted and Jeff was confident in recommending several types of flooring I might like. The delivery was as scheduled. Jeff was available during the entire process for questions and advice. I was happy with the durability of the prefinished hardwood flooring. Well it's really nice to leave a house that has some nasty old carpet and come back a few days later to new hardwood floor. The floor looks great. I have no complaints with the install. They did my entire home except the laundry room and bathrooms. It looks great. I returned to a clean home ready to move into.
I got several estimates. Theirs was the lowest from a licensed contractor. I did find a few guys on Craigslist that were less, but they had no tools and no contractors licenses. I will pay the extra $200.00 to know it will be done right.
I referred 2 friends that used Teak and Hardwood Floors. Both of them were happy with the install.

Our floor looks beautiful! The installer did a great job. He arrived early and stayed pretty late . He wanted to get the job done in one day for us, which we definitely appreciated. He was a very hard worker all day and cleaned up quickly before he left. This was a wonderful deal for the price we paid - as we got two other quotes.

After deciding to replace my carpet in my house I decided to rip out the
old carpet to save a little cash. Much to my surprise I found hardwood
floors underneath the old carpet and padding. After this wonderful find I
looked for a local hard wood floor company to refinish the existing
hard wood floors and possibly match it and add more in the kitchen which
was old linoleum. After a couple of phone conversations and a little
research I decided Teak and Hardwood Floors was my choice. Jeff was very
informative on what I could expect as far as price, time of completion,
and the hard task of matching 50+ year old hardwood floors with new
wood for my kitchen. I also expresses to him I would like the work done
while I was out of town on vacation so I wouldn't have to deal with the
construction while I was there. They were very accommodating to my time
frame and so we scheduled the work to be done. After a wonderful week
long vacation I came home to a completely finished job. The floors
looked better than expected. (When I pulled out the old carpet padding
there was a few pet stains and tons of holes from all the staples and
tack strip) I had to pull out a magnifying glass to find the old holes
which had been patched and sanded perfect. The new wood he added in the
kitchen to match the existing floor was meticulously woven in with the
old floor and barely noticeable. I specifically asked for no stain
because I loved all the grain in the wood and wanted nothing but a clear
coat. If the floors would have been stained you would have never
noticed the difference between the old wood floors and the new wood in
the kitchen. Great job. All and all my experience was great and would definitely use their services again.

The flooring installation went smoothly and professionally, and there were no surprises. Installing wood floors creates a lot of dust, and there just is no way around that when installing this type of floor--these details were explained clearly during the estimation process, and the crew did a good job cleaning up the dust. It does get everywhere, and I would recommend taking down and putting away anything you don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning afterwards. Everything was delivered and installed as estimated. Teak and Hardwood removed the old flooring and baseboards, fixed the squeaky areas of the existing sub-floor, and installed the flooring in two days. The third day, they sanded and filled the floor, and put down the first coat of polyurethane. The Fourth day, they applied a second coat of polyurethane. They sanded and polished the floor to an extremely nice surface finish the Fifth day. The 6th, 7th and 8th day were spent installing the one piece, hardwood treads, risers, and installing the base boards. The floor in my house had many, many, corners, and required many cuts and corners for the baseboards. The baseboards turned out perfect. It has been over 7 years since the initial installation, and the floor is still holding up great, and looking great. I constantly recommend this company to friends and family. Of all the referrals I have made for Teak and Hardwood over the years, everybody has had fantastic reviews of their service and installation, which is great for me, as I would feel bad for recommending a company or service that didn't perform to the same high level that I received.

The workers were prompt and the installation is of a very professional quality. I'm very happy with the product and the installation. I'm planning on using this company again very soon to purchase and install more laminate flooring in my house. They have a great selection of products, and their installers do beautiful work.

The whole process went very well overall despite the scheduling having to run a day or two over the week originally projected.
