"We bought the place knowing the water pipes needed to be replaced and it was the first task we took on after closing. D&D were good to work with. They were on time, had to track where the water lines were, cut out minimal drywall to do so, and worked with us to relocate the heater indoors from the crawl space, add water overflow pan/drain and were flexible regarding how to run the lines for an expected new washer/dryer. The whole job took two days to complete, with us taking care of drywall repairs later. We had one small and very slow drip leak involving one Rehau connector to the water heater which they fixed with a new Pex constriction ring. We have near instant hot water in the master bath now, very quick elsewhere; lower bills and greater confidence in the water pipes. The also fixed the main sewer line which was hanging low due to broken nylon hanging bands using a better strap system and J-hook at a 90 degree elbow at a corner. Our water pressure was well over 80 PSI with no regulator to begin with and the addition of a regulator was welcome relief to the potential effects. They replaced the "home made" home-run system made with individual T connectors on both hot and cold sides with a standard layout that is efficient for our small place. They included new hose bibs with frost protection brass fittings. The only concern we had was a pipe crossing in the primary wet wall between the utility room and master bath caused us to have to trim out the studs for drywall to fit well afterwards. We brought this to their attention and know they took some action to address it, but turned out not to be enough to satisfy the drywall; shimming the drywall out worked well enough, just a little more time. All in all, we were very satisfied with the effort and thought it well worth the price to get rid of the risk with polybutylene pipes and getting the water heater in a better environment.."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

Yes. You can replace just the stopper portion with a universal sink stopper. All you need to do is open up the existing stopper and pull it up from the drain. You should be able to remove and replace the stopper with bare hands. If the existing stopper seems to be stuck, use a pair of pliers to remove it.

You can try a few things to figure out where a water leak is coming from. Check all of your appliances and fixtures, make sure the water pressure is normal on your faucets, and look for signs of water damage. White vinegar or baking soda can remove the crusty white deposits that minerals leave behind. A paper towel soaked in vinegar and wrapped around your faucet can effectively dissolve scale, but can be corrosive to some materials like brushed nickel if left on too long. For materials that can’t withstand vinegar, a paste of baking soda and water applied with a toothbrush can gently scrub away scale deposits.

To keep your toilet from clogging, you can use less toilet paper. You can also use a liquid toilet plunger to break up any clogs and keep the toilet drain and pipes clear. When it comes to a clogged toilet, the best route is prevention by using less toilet paper and making sure the mechanisms are all working properly.
