"Initially shocked at the cost of a synthetic stucco application ($15,605). However, Earp's price was in line with other bids I received. I first thought this was too much money to spend relative to the neighborhood I live in This is true, because my new stucco job makes the other neighborhood stucco jobs look like crap. Earp scored the old stucco layers, with a circular saw, a foot above ground level, before applying the new stucco system. This was to help prevent ground moisture wicking. I thought this was pretty creative. The work crew was very good with masking off windows and doors. They worked very efficiently, without a lot of chatter. They seemed very focused on the job. The finish around my replacement windows is fantastic. They did an excellent job feathering the stucco from the wall to the front of the windows. My neighbor up the street, had Tesuque re-stucco their home. They used the same stucco brand (Dryvit) and color as my home. Upon close inspection, there is no doubt in my mind, that Earp did a better job of stucco finish than Tesuque."

"Bobby Goslow and his Accent Painting Company team were an excellent experience. I enjoy it when a small family owned company is successful and the owner (Bobby) takes a personal interest in a job. The Accent Painting Company crew are just outstanding craftsman. They repaired my damaged stucco to the point that it appears to look like the original texture. Then they painted the stuccoed walls the old fashion way with rollers and they do not thin out the paint. Gutters and facial boards were hand painted and were done to perfection. Bobby stayed in constant contact and made sure I was satisfied with the day to day activity. It has been a while since the work was done (Summer 2017) but the place just looks great and many of the neighbors have commented on how well the house looks. We wanted the house to have the same color (the house is approximately 25 years old) and Bobby went to great lengths to match the original color. We needed to have a porch ceiling redone due to a bad leak and the crew went to the extent of replacing the drywall and even some of the damaged plywood decking. We also needed a bedroom repainted and Bobby and the Accent Painting crew again did an outstanding job. Their "cut lines" are perfect. There is no loud music blaring but you can hear conversation between workers and it sounded like they enjoy their work and other members of the crew. There was no profanity and all members of the crew are complete gentlemen. They clean up every day and when the entire job was done, there was absolutely no spilled messes, paint drops or any other types of messes. I do not think that Accent Painting's pricing was out of line, remember, you are hiring craftsman, not "shade tree painters." I will caution that these workers like to start early (7:00 am) and you will see their trucks parked outside your residence by 6:45 am. They are very prompt! "Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one."
