  • The service was great! 
  •  Ramon Acosta showed up on time for the appointment to lay out the the floor plan and had his men there at the house ready to work within 2 days. We wanted special made cabinets for the bathroom and Ramon brought us a cabinet designer to our home to work out the details! The workers were punctual and cleaned up their mess after each day of work. The remodel was finished on schedule. I plan on remodeling the kitchen and I will be calling D & R Services for that project as well!

Shifting and settling can occur throughout your home’s life, but most major settling happens the first few years after the concrete is poured. A concrete seal can protect your garage floor from water and stains as can an epoxy coating. The main difference is that epoxy is much more durable and better for heavy-duty wear and tear—it’s used in more industrial and commercial settings. If you’re just using the garage as storage for tools and your car, concrete sealer will do just fine. But if your garage doubles as a workshop for side projects and auto repair, epoxy will hold up better.

Mix the resurfacer into a sticky mixture. The consistency should look like mashed potatoes. Use a squeegee to push the resurfacer across the pitted area and smoothen the surface with a cement trowel flush. Make sure you protect any expansion joints with a weather strip. Alternatively, cut out any resurfacer that touched the joint once the mixture begins to harden.

You can paint over old paint on a concrete porch. For the best results, you should first clean the surface and remove as much paint as you can. A power washer is helpful here, but you’ll also want to scrape as much of the old paint away as possible. Then you should prime the porch before repainting it.
