    From the beginning we met George, the owner of Advanced American, and he was courteous and up front about the challenges we faced with this extensive renovation. This is a vacation home and we expressed to George how important it was for us to be able to trust his team to work on unsupervised other than occasional inspections. We felt comfortable with George and his honest assessments and decided to move forward with the project. He is the kind of contractor that will tell you from the beginning how much something will cost and not surprise you later with charges for things that were more complex than expected. He is very frank about what is required and how much it will cost in order to do a quality job. He does not cut corners and would rather not perform the work than do subpar work that will lead to issues in the future. He won't sugar coat the difficulty of the work needed and will not draw you in with a low ball quote only to double it on the backend. He is very knowledgeable home construction overall and his team can really take on almost anything. George always picks up his phone or returns calls as soon as possible. We left many valuable items in the home and ordered many things to be received by his team and not one item went missing or was damaged in the home.     Greg was amazing. We bought a vacation house and live 9 hours away. We had a very long list of things that needed to be done. We gave Greg the key to the house and he worked nonstop for weeks. Every day he would send pictures of the work he had done. He knocked out an entire list before we got there and then worked with me for days getting moved in.     The first day, demolition day, they had all the old stuff out, and a new window in place. Second day, tile began going up in the shower/tub area. My wife wanted a niche built into the wall, and that was framed and most of that tile was in place. Up graded plumbing was roughed in. Third day, shower/tub area tile completed, including inside the niche. New, custom made cabinet/vanity was installed. Finishing touches on the shower/tub tile including grouting. Floor tile was installed and grouted. walls and ceiling painted. New light fixture installed. Fourth day, light fixture had to be relocated along with an electrical outlet. Vince did this and patched the wall and did touch up painting. Vince did an excellent job and we couldn't tell there had ever been holes in the wall, even though we knew they had been. Vince also did the painting, and even patched and textured places in the kitchen that were in need of cosmetic help due to water leaks! Did an excellent job and didn't even charge us for this work. The new tub suffered a chip (probably from falling tile) and they are taking care of that. Everyone involved went out of their way to insure that we had exactly what we wanted. My wife is extremely happy with the way the whole job turned out. Art was very accommodating and understanding and always responded in a very professional and quick manner.     Torres Construction LLC was referred by a neighbor here in Port St. Joe Beach, Fl. After contacting Mr. Torres a meeting time was set for the following day. Mr. Torres arrived promptly, he was courteous and he came prepared to discuss the outdoor patio shower. First, he listened to our ideas and answered our questions regarding the design and materials available. He then showed pictures of outside showers he had constructed in our area and guided us on the preferred materials for a beach area. After deciding the type shower we liked, he then prepared a quite reasonable and acceptable estimate. Surprisingly, he was prepared to begin the project the next day. The quality and craftsmanship in the finished shower were excellent. In fact, his company will now begin on our kitchen renovation and interior painting projects.     We hired Busy Bees to clean our home for moving out. I let Margot know of the square footage of the home ahead of time. The initial quote was 4 hours with two people at $340. 8 hours, 3 people later, $770 price with taxes later, none of the baseboards were clean, the windows weren't cleaned, the fridge still had stains on it, and the kitchen floor was dirtier than how we initially had it (footprints that weren't cleaned up), the home wasn't swept or mopped, the windowsills weren't properly cleaned, and our kitchen rod was tossed out for some reason. When I asked why so little was done, Margot said they tried their best. They state they spent 4 hours on ONE restroom alone that wasn't even fully cleaned. They charged us for lunch break that they obviously took (there were Burger King wrappers on the floor), and we still had to pay full price read less
