On December 4, 2017 I called Bob Reid Pest Control to find out when my next service for the termite bait stations was due. Bob Reid Pest Control installed these termite station in 2016 and after the initial install for over 1000 dollars, you pay 375 dollars for them to monitor the system twice a year. Noticing that my paperwork showed that the last time Bob Reid came to my house to inspect the termite stations was back in April 2017. I called them to see when the next time they would come and I was told that they came in September 2017. I advised that I had never been notified or received any paperwork to show that the service had been completed. I was told that the Vice President of Bob Reid Pest Control would give me a call. When Mr. Vice President called he was very argumentative in that I would even question that they did the service, and not of my paperwork shows that they have to call or produce any paperwork. I told him that I have 3 large dogs, one that is not very friendly so it made me question how someone entered my back yard to service the termite station. Mr. Vice President ignored the question by saying the service had been completed. Bob Reid had serviced my house 4 times in the past and I always received a call and paperwork, and I asked why this was not handled this the same way time? Mr. Vice President told me again that my contract does not show that they have to call or produce paperwork, but more than likely it was placed in the door, and that if I did not find it, it could have been windy that day. He went on to say that this would not be the first time he would have to prove a customer wrong, and that there is no way to cheat the system. At that point the call ended. On December 5, 2017 at 0800 in the morning I went to Bob Reid Pest Control to speak more on the hostile conversation I had had with the Vice President, and to discontinue my service. The Vice President was working the counter of the business and our conversation immediately continued as it had from the night before, were I was told that nowhere in my contract does it say they have to call and that if the paperwork was not received, that that happens all the time. I then tried to explain about the companies past practice of always calling and leaving paperwork, but Mr. Vice President ignored anything that I had to say. I then advised that I wanted to have the system removed from my home and that I would go with a different company, to which the Vice President told me that I had 3 active Termite station currently at my home, and that due to this one incident I was going to pay a different company to treat for termites, to which I said yes. The Vice President of Bob Reid Pest Control pointed in my face and said and I quote " I hope termites eat the **** out of your home". At this point I asked when they would arrive to remove the termite system and he advised that he personally would come at 0830 on December 6, 2017. I told him that I understand he and myself seem to have a problem, but my wife would be home and that she has nothing to do with my argument and please not involve her with our issue, and that she will give him access to where he need to go to get system out of my home. His response that respect was a two way street, and I again said that my wife has nothing to do with what ever was going on between himself and I. The last thing I said was that I didn't believe that this situation had to be handled this way. Bob Reid Pest Control Vice President said "You are correct, Leave my business" to which told him to have a good day. If this is how Bob Reid Pest Control treats his customers I do not know how they have stayed in business for the 41 years that they display on their Website. I will never again use or recommend anyone use Bob Reid Pest Control. Consumer Beware. As a customer I have the right to question services rendered, or if I believe there is an issue. Especially since the service was paid for up front. Again Consumer Beware---Bob Reid Pest Control is not recommended

As always our tech Eddie was on time and very professional. He sprayed my office and building without ever disrupting our work. Whatever they use at Bob Reed seems to last longer than the other pest control companies in town. When they say it lasts 90 days they aren't joking. Not only are we bug free for 90 days but usually long after that as well. At my house they also sprayed my entire yard which is a big job since I have 1/2 an acre of landscaping but there are no complaints or grunts about it being difficult. On top of that they never cut corners either. They make sure every nook and cranny of my property is sprayed which seems simple but not every company does such a thorough job. I like knowing that I am getting what I pay for and that's what I get with Bob Reed Pest Control.

Technician Aaron called very promptly, right after I contacted the company requesting service. His prompt return of my call exceeded my expectation. We discussed my extermination needs and he set a 1PM appointment.
Aaron arrived promptly at 1PM, as promised. I showed him some of the bugs we had trapped in sticky trays, and we talked about sightings. He confirmed the type of bug we have (oriental cockroach), and gave me an estimate, which I approved.
Aaron was pleasant and professional. He applied the treatment in a very thorough manner. Really, leaving no stone unturned. I was impressed with what a good job he did, spraying every room and the complete basement area. He was careful to get everywhere, really. Under the sinks, crevices, baseboards. Really everywhere.
This company obviously trains their technicians very well, and have good people that care about the job they are doing. He advised that when the eggs hatch in two weeks, we'll see a lot of dead ones, but no live ones any more.
I am very happy with the prompt attention and level of service I got from this company. I have no complaints at all, and would recommend them to anyone.
My experience with Bob Reed Pest control is in drastic contrast to what happened when we called Orkin. See our review of Orkin separately, if you like, but please call Bob Reed, and not Orkin.

Termite inspection revealed termites. Bait traps were placed every 18 inches around house. Termites were caught early before any appreciable damage was done. Bait is checked every 3 months.

The technician showed up at the scheduled time and he was professional and polite. My only complaint is with the scheduling of my service. I am setup to receive this service on a quarterly basis. I have had to call them the last three times.

The interior and exterior was sprayed thoroughly of my house and shed. The man told me that as soon as the spray dried there was no danger for my house cat or my outside dog. He said that the bugs would be coming out of there hiding places in the next couple of days and I'd be doing a lot of sweeping. The man was very nice and very professional. Even though it has been around fourteen days since the spraying I'm still sweeping up dead bugs, however the numbers are decreasing. I immediately signed up for them to come out every three months and retreat everything. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! The initial price wasn't very expensive, and the price for the three-month follow ups will only be around $55. I think it is money well spent!

I've had an odor in my house for about a week. There is odor only when the heater is on. I've checked all of the air vents with a fiber optic camera and didn't find anything. I assumed that it might be an animal under my house that died. Found Bob reed pest control on Google. After looking at their website I was under the impression that they deal with rodent or wildlife problems. I went to their office, they said they don't remove any dead animals. They can spray a chemical in and under the house that they claimed would neutralize the odor molecules. While pest control tech was spraying my house, I asked the offer some kind of prevention service to keep wildlife and mouse form my house. They don't. That chemical worked for about three days and then odor came back. I finally decided to climb under my house and I found a dead skunk. The odor is still there but it is not as bad. Hopefully it will go away now that the dead skunk is gone but I worry there is another dead animal that I missed.

"On December 03, 2012 this customer did come into our office and spoke to the operations manager about the odor in his house. Based on the information supplied by the customer, the operations manager came to a conclusion that he had some type of medium size animal that was deceased under his home. At this time the operations manager explained that we at Bob Reed Pest Control do not remove animal carcasses. Also during this conversation our odor control service was offered. Due to the limited amount of time the odor neutralizer can stay active, it was explained at this time that removal of the deceased animal before application is recommended. This customer then expressed the desire to have the odor control service perform even though he had not been able to locate the source of the odor. Now that the source of the odor seems to have been removed, we here at Bob Reed Pest Control are willing to go back out and perform odor control again, with no cost to the customer."

He is efficient. Once he sprays I just see dead roaches within 2 and ndash; 8 hours time. I don't have any scorpions coming in the house. The spray that he uses doesn't affect my pet. He is quick and fair priced. I would continue to use him in the future as well.

They are great. They always show up when they are supposed to. I never have bugs. Their prices are reasonable. The overall experience was excellent. I would use this company again.
