"We recently had our backyard landscaping project completed, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Art and his team were professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail. They completed the entire project in a timely manner and kept us informed throughout the process. Their workmanship was outstanding, and they took great pride in delivering a high-quality finished product. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean and organized work area every day. If you're looking for a reliable and professional landscaping company that delivers excellent results, I highly recommend KASA. Our backyard turned out even better than we imagined, and we are extremely satisfied with their work."

"The job turned out excellent! Andres was informative and patient with someone who was not familiar with xeriscaping or southwest plants. He was also a good troubleshooter along with designing. Nellie in the office was welcoming and responsive. Any delay (minor and primarily due to weather) was communicated. The crew was great. The project involved clearing the backyard to the dirt and rebuilding, including new slab patio (with stamping). Front yard plants were also trimmed for a polished look."

"I simply was not impressed with this provider.  It took about a week for him to come to my property, but I will cut some slack on that because it was during a time we were experiencing a lot of rain and he was behind schedule with other customers.  However, I purchased a deal for a tree health assessment with $100 credit toward service.  When I finally did meet with the vendor, he gave me advice on how to improve the health of my trees which took about 10 minutes.  He did not have time to actually trim any of my trees, which is what I wanted done.  Even so, I asked if he could give me an estimate on what I wanted done and we could schedule the service at a later date.  He told me he'd do it for $199 and I could go to Angie's List and purchase a coupon for $199.  I told him I had $100 credit on the deal I already purchased and he said he'd check on that and get back to me.  I never heard from him again.  I think he has good intentions and just may have been overwhelmed with customers due to the weather situation.  However, I honestly don't have time to mess delay services on my property nor make appointments only to have them pushed back.  I prefer a company that can fit me in and complete service within a reasonable amount of time.

"Great customer service and quality work. Very responsive and worked the job into a tight timeframe. Crew hit the ground running and worked the concrete like master artisans of the trade. Their handiwork and craftsmanship will be highlighted once we acid stain the floor. Can't wait to get to that next step. Thanks Home Advisor -- you matched us up with the perfect business, MT Construction!"

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Cutting rectangular ductwork requires careful measurements and the right technique. Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the cutting lines accurately. Tin snips are excellent for straight cuts on smaller ducts. For more extensive or thicker rectangular ducts, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade is effective.

Ensure the duct is well-supported and secure while cutting to prevent wobbling and maintain precision. After cutting, use a metal file to smooth any sharp edges, ensuring safety during installation.

Choosing the right metal fabricator for your project begins with research. Find a reputable fabrication company by searching for reputable contractors in your area, and then reviewing photos of their previous work, customer reviews, and photos of the company’s workshop.

Once you’ve narrowed down the list, contact the companies to ask about the types of metal fabrication projects they specialize and inquire about guarantees and warranties on workmanship. You should also ensure the company uses high-quality material, and ask about the schedule and turnaround time for your proposed project.

The best thing to cut metal pipe is a durable pipe cutter that is made for metal. You may want to measure the diameter of the pipes before purchasing a pipe cutter to ensure it will be able to cut your metal pipes. Opt for a heavy-duty option to cut through metal like steel or cast iron.
