No recommendations came forth from friends or family so I took to the internet to find a contractor, which in my experience is a recipe for disaster. Call it good energy from the universe or luck or whatever but I found Webster Renovations & Repairs. After meeting several times with Josh, the owner, I couldn't have been more comfortable entering into a contract for the work. He was polite, present, knowledgeable. Spent time with me explaining details. Webster's work was meticulous and every detail perfect. Like they were building it for their mother. "Hired Lucero Construction to repaint extensive exterior exposed wood beams, posts, and pergolas. The crew did an outstanding job and were very conscientious about masking off areas. The winds did not allow for any spraying so it all had to be done by brush. Every evening, the workers cleaned up and stored their painting equipment. They were very polite and professional, and they did a fantastic job that was challenging, to say the least. This is the third time I have used Lucero Construction and have never been disappointed in the quality of their work, craftsmanship, politeness of their workers, and cleanliness of the job site. I will use them again without hesitation."
