So they sent two men and so they meant two hours. But the other guy just stood around and didn't do anything. He mixed up some mud for the drywaller and he didn't do anything else. I thought that was a way to get around four hours of work. They were able to complete the work in two hours because it was not a very big job. While one man was doing one part, cause I have three places that needed repair, I thought man should have been working on the other part but that's not the way. It was a good price for the deal. Slab foundations that have footings—including slab-on-grade foundations and monolithic slab foundations—get additional support from soil further down and are less likely to sink over time, especially under larger, heavier structures.

This method is often used when the soil beneath the foundation can no longer evenly support the structure. Foundation repair is an umbrella term that includes many methods.
