"For the initial consultation Mr. Varela arrived on time. He took time to listen to the whole story about my roof and the failed attempts to fix a leak I had going directly into my kitchen. The main priority was established to fix the leak in the roof before anymore damage was done. Later the metal roof was installed and I am very pleased with my new roof! Mr. Varela and his crew are all very professional and very courteous. The workers always asked permission to access areas where this was a gate and when finished you couldn't find a scrap anywhere. No detail was ignored as far as dealing with everything on the roof such as antennas and my swamp cooler. Very well done! Thank you so much Fort Selden Roofing! "I spoke with Dave on the phone, and he sent Shawn out to inspect. Both were courteous and professional. Shawn listened carefully to my description of the problem odor and when it happened. He checked walls for moisture and other indications of possible mold. Although he did not think there was mold based on his examination, I opted for air samples to make sure. The initial evaluation was free - cost was for the air samples and analysis. Analysis of the samples in the lab showed that there was not a mold problem. Shawn helped me troubleshoot for other possible sources of the problem."

"Mike’s crew stuccoed our house in three and a half days in June 2021. However, they stuccoed our back door shut, got stucco all over the roof, yard, garden, & fencing. Not only that, but two of our lights weren’t working after they reinstalled them. We agreed on a time for his crew to come back and clean up, but they delayed, then no-showed. It wound up taking six weeks for Mike to send over a crew to clean up after the first one. During those six weeks, Mike put a lien on our house and threatened to foreclose. After he finally sent a crew to come clean up, his letter to remove the lien had the wrong information and wasn’t notarized. (It’s a legal document, you need to use the correct information. And according to the Santa Fe County Clerk, it must be notarized.) After way too much drama, we got another letter (with accurate numbers), got it notarized, I paid him, and then, FINALLY, we were done. The stucco looks good, we’ve even had compliments on it. However, I recommend you find someone more competent and professional, even if it costs a little more."
