"No project was to big for Robert! I had total of 6 tall elm trees that Robert and his company was able to service , four that needed to be taken down and two that needed to be trimmed. All the trees were in bad shape with YEARS of growth and neglect, many hanging over my, my neighbors homes, power lines and street area. Robert mentioned that he does his work climbing and with ropes. It was amazing to watch, my neighbors enjoyed the free entertainment during the project. It was very obvious that Robert enjoyed his work. Was able to perform the service like a master surgeon, taking down each branch, limb, and trunk with the greatest of care and skill. Robert was my highest bidder for the job, however it was his professionalism that sold the job. He really cares for each tree, it's health and growth. Robert provided the necessary documents to assure me that he was able to handle the job in a safe and responsible manner. With good communication we were able to meet the needs of removing and providing some of the wood for personal use. My only concern is some of the larger trunk pieces will be brought down to manageable size . It was a pleasure to have Robert do this work. I will recommend him for any of your tree care. "They were extremely thorough.  They rented a special machine to 'scrub' the air and clean out the mold once and for all.  I needed to leave the house for 48 hours and also remove my indoor cats.  Initially they thought my goldfish would be okay so we left  her in the house.  When it was evident that she wouldn't be all right they took her out of the tank, put her in a 5 gallon tank that I had and put her in the safest part of the house.
When they came back a few days later to check how everything was one of the cats got into the crawl space.  I wasn't home and they were worried about the cat's safety.  They waited until she came out even though they had to stay and extra hour or so.

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

It depends on the problem, the affected part of the tree, the risk of the pathogen spreading, and the overall health of your tree. Many diseases, fungal infections, and insect infestations can be successfully treated, especially if the issue is only in a few branches. However, if a disease is too widespread, too severe, too easily spread, or in the roots, the tree will likely need to be removed.

If you’re taking down a tree that you don’t suspect is affected by disease or pests and it’s nowhere near your home or other structures, then calling in a tree company should work fine. However, anything more involved means an arborist is a better option. These pros have years of experience with tree removal and can safely take down trees located next to structures, and they have the tools, sanitization equipment, and experience to remove sick or dying trees without infecting nearby trees.

Unfortunately, if you cut the top off a palm tree, it will die. Instead of budding or branching out, the top begins to slowly rot. That's why having a professional tree trimming at least twice a year is a good idea. If you don’t have experience with trimming your palm tree, you might accidentally cut the top off, leaving a dead and rotting tree in your wake.

You can use a chainsaw, but it won’t remove the entire stump or root ball and is not a recommended method. It takes quite a bit of physical work to achieve and will likely dull or ruin your chainsaw. Instead, consider using salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, stump grinding, or burning to kill a tree stump. These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.

Generally, no, tree topping isn’t a good technique, and you should avoid using it in most cases. Tree topping may be the only good option to save a tree following severe damage after a storm, but in most other cases, it’s not the right choice. Tree topping can leave trees vulnerable to disease and further damage, and most pros will suggest against it.
