"We called Heartland Handyman Services for what we thought was just to paint 2 rooms. Javier showed us there was much more involved. With little to no effort at all, he showed us that the room's window was not seated and secure. The window sill came off with a little tug. Inside the wall were signs of water leaks. In the other room, the floor had been damaged and since it could not bear any weight, we could step through the floor. Heartland had to open up the outside siding, repair the exterior wall, reseal the siding, reseat the windows, insulate the walls, besides the original plan to paint the 2 rooms. He also had to reinforce the outer wall, repair the underflooring and install a new floor."

"We bought the Angie's List Big Deal for $249 for an interior painter for 8 hours.  He was able to paint a medium sized bedroom and our fireplace mantle in that time (the mantle took multiple coats) as well as touch up some trim.  He even took the time to repair some small places on the fireplace mantle.  Bottom line: they did the job well and they did it RIGHT.   The painter was kind and did an outstanding job.  He literally just pulled out of my driveway and I am already writing this review because of how happy I am with the work.  Painting is not easy to do correctly and make it look GOOD, so were happy to pay for someone else to do the job.  The edging was perfect and the paint job is really nice.  I will use them in the future for any painting needs I have.  They were on time and willing to touch up some trim around the house because we had about 45 minutes left of the 8 hour time that we purchased.  I would not hesitate to use ETC Home Improvement again in the future.
