"Where do I even begin!? They showed up an hour early. With plenty of heads up. He was very understanding when I didnâ t see the notification that they were running early. Tino was very friendly and jovial. One of those people who you couldnâ t imagine ever having a bad day. He and his partner got to work in the scolding hot, almost 100 degree day and finished our beautiful play set in 4 hours! He made sure to ask if it was in the spot I liked before anchoring it to the ground. I couldnâ t be happier. It is very well built. Thank you guys SO much!"

"Melvin came over to see what we wanted to have done and gave us a price estimate,  He also suggested options that we had never thought of--running cable through the wall so that it couldn't be seen and hooking up our unused stereo equipment to our TV and gaming system.   He gave us a price estimate which was quite reasonable in relation to others we had gotten. When he returned to do the job, he brought a partner with him and they finished in the time estimated.  They were very neat and put everything back.  When they came, I was very explicit that I wanted the TV to be hung level even though the floor in our old house slopes to one side.  I went out and left my husband there while they finished.  They did exactly as I asked and hung the TV level--but once I saw it with our crooked walls, it LOOKED slanted, so I knew I couldn't live with it.  I called Melvin in a panic and told him that I knew it was MY fault, but asked if there was anything they could do.  He and his partner returned the next day, took the TV down again and moved the bracket around until I was comfortable with the angle.  Then, they hung the TV back up and made sure I liked the way it looked.  They told me there was no charge for coming back; they just wanted me to be happy.  They were extremely pleasant and never made me feel bad that I had changed my mind.  I am so glad we hired this company.  We would definitely hire them again for any electrical or installation work.   A pleasure to work with!

"My first time experience with this Company was Great! My issue was explained to Mr. Lubrin via telephone and he came out the same day, one time and prepared with his work equipment. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it with ease! Mr. Lubrin appeared very knowledgeable and focused on the job he repaired in my home. The cost was very reasonable and he answered all of my concerns and displayed patience in getting the job done right! I recommend this Company to anyone with any type of electrical issue, Mr Lubrin is a licensed skilled electrician and he appeared to be an honest man!"

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

Rubber mulch is widely considered the best material to place under a playset. This material option provides more cushioning than traditional wood mulch for added protection, remains cooler than sand and most other materials in direct sunlight, and it’s low maintenance. Rubber mulch is slightly more expensive than other common options at $120 per cubic yard on average, whereas pine bark mulch is $30 per cubic yard. But when it comes to your children’s safety, the investment is worthwhile. Consult your playground equipment installation company about material recommendations before starting this project.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.

For artificial turf that’s the most durable, look for heat-resistant products with thicker blades. Keep in mind that there’s a difference between artificial grass versus artificial turf, with turf consisting of a shorter look while artificial grass is longer and more closely resembles real grass.

It’s usually possible to install a playground yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Playground construction can be complicated and involves moving large, heavy, and bulky components into place while you affix them to other pieces. Not only is the work physically demanding, but any mistakes could reduce the lifespan of your playground and potentially put any children who use the equipment at risk of injury. It’s relatively inexpensive to hire a professional playground installer, and it’s usually worth the investment, if only for the peace of mind it provides.
