The easiest way to handle extra-wet cement is to pour it, let it harden, and then recycle it using one of the methods above. You can also crush it down and sell it for base materials, although this can be pretty time-consuming. Your best bet is to start with less concrete than you need and make more as you go to avoid this problem.

Concrete discoloration is when some or all of the concrete has a different color than its intended shade. It could be dirty, stained, or have issues from installation, such as improper curing or inconsistent finishing. You can fix concrete discoloration in various ways, such as cleaning the surface, painting it, or resurfacing it. To prevent concrete discoloration, hire a pro who has experience with your type of project, whether it’s a garage floor, patio, or porch.

Clean regularly, reseal every 2-3 years, and avoid abrasive cleaning agents to preserve the finish.

Polished concrete gets its glass-like finish from several rounds of polishing, using increasingly finer grit diamond grinding pads. The concrete’s hardness will determine which grits you need to get your desired finish. The densifier and sealer also contribute to the look of the final floor, so either talk to a concrete pro (or hire one) to achieve the right concrete floor finish.
