Seashore Construction did a shoddy clean-up after completing my project. I found over 60 NAILS in my driveway, yard and flowerbeds. After discovering these nails I took down my original positive review of their company. Their salesman, Drew Twiggs, called me 6 times in 30 minutes demanding g to know why I took down my review. When I explained it was fun to the number of nails I found, he was completely unapologetic.

very well. Seashore staff are punctual as well accessible via phone or email. Managment has been accommodating regarding some monetary issues that have arrived. I am looking forward to working with them again in the spring.

I hired this company 4 years and 2 months ago to install a new roof on my house in Margate, NJ. At that time, it seemed like all went well, and I gave them an "A" rating. That rating may have been premature. After just 4 years, there's a leak, and I am told that unless the materials were proven to be defective, all repairs would be my responsibility. Since I need the roof repaired, I made an appointment for today, Nov. 5, 2018 and drove from the Philly area to be here for the inspection. I called early this morning to confirm and was told there would be a call back. I never heard from the the repairman nor the company, so later in the day, I called a second time, only to be told that the office had him doing other things because of today's rain. So now i drove to Margate for a Roof inspection that didn't happen, I still have the leak, and i NEVER EVEN GOT A CALL ABOUT CANCELLING THE APPOINTMENT. A wasted day waiting for somebody to call me. Good thing I called him!!! I don't think this is a good way to run a company. I made another appointment for next Saturday, but the repairman says I NEED TO CALL HIM ON FRIDAY NIGHT SO HE CAN WRITE IT DOWN!

They did not show up at all. They had a whole week to come over to the house to give a estimate on the job. I do not trust contractors when they do not show up or do not even call !

Work was completed 8-9 years ago The finish on the metal used to cap trim and windows is flaking off Was told it is probably manufacturers defect. Called Seahorse numerous times over the past 4 months or so and was never called back or scheduled for an inspection. For a company to not stand by their work and not return a customers phone calls is very unprofessional.

I will reiterate that this not a labor or workmanship issue, but a manufacturer's defect for a material that is long out of warranty (it has been 9 years - May 2009 is when the job was done). Keep in mind that at the time we bid your work, we gave you an option to put Azek composite board around the windows in lieu of this PVC coated metal wrapping, but you chose to go with the less expensive option instead. I apologize for this completely unforeseen circumstance. I will be happy to send you the claim forms for the manufacturer and you can pursue it with them. Not well. I contracted this company to repair my garage roof. They were the lowest bid (first mistake). I should have gone with the local roofer whose bid was higher. Since this is a summer home I was not there while the work was being done (second mistake). This was an older garage so you’d expect they might find additional problems. They did to the tune of an additional $1000. After I complained bitterly they took off $300. Now the real problem is when it rains instead of the rain going into the downspout I have standing water on the roof attracting seagulls and black soot on the floor of the garage. STAY AWAY.

I would never use them again, never call them again, I would not refer them to anyone again. Out of respect they should have at least returned my call. What I find interesting is that they advertise on local radio stations around my area about how great they are. Again, they didn't return a phone call. Simple and basic courtesy.

The new roof is gorgeous and Gary was very knowledgeable on what we needed for the area. Returned calls and texts promptly. There was an issue with damage during the installation to interior of the house which contract said would not be covered, but he worked with us to try to get it resolved. Wish that wouldn't have happened, but still have to finish taking care on our own. The roof work we are very pleased with.

We found Seashore Construction on Angie's List. They were not our first choice but the other company proved unresponsive. These guys were fantastic! Each person I encountered was responsive, knowledgeable and professional. They help with selection and as a result the windows are perfect. When we had questions, the response was prompt and accurate. Installation was sooner than promised. When we removed one window, we found a considerable amount of damage from water penetration. They performed the necessary repair at a reasonable fee. When installing the front window assembly, the onsite foreman, Louis, directed the installers so as to create a very professional, finished look. We had one window in the back of the house that presented a challenge. Again, Louis engaged the installers and fashioned an outstanding solution. Since having the windows installed, we have had numerous neighbors remark on how great they look. I am confident these windows with serve us well for many, many years. We have quite a few projects to handle as we prepare what we hope will be our retirement home. Without a doubt, Seashore Construction will be our preferred vendor.

The process involved Seashore Construction, Margate building inspector, and an architectural firm to design the decks by city code and structural appearance. Seashore construction provided updates and description of the final job and time frames to complete the project. There response time was within 24 hours. The qualify of work appears to be precise and esthetically nice. The salesforce and project manager worked together during the project which eliminated questions or concerns from the members of the community. I would recommend Seashore Construction for deck projects.

Both the roof and foundation are now fixed and it is a huge relief to come home to a house that is free of these problems. Seashore Construction was wonderful in guiding me through the process of getting these items fixed. The workmanship was outstanding. They showed up on schedule, they did their job, and I can't tell you how pleased I am with this company and the work that they did. I would recommend them wholeheartedly, and do plan on using them for future work as needed.

It seemed fine but I have had a slow leak around the three dormer windows. It has taken years of repeated calls to figure out my issue--that the fascia boards are now too short since they were installed with the old, very thick tiles, and you can fit your entire hand in some spots where the boards meet the roof. At one point they sent someone out with a tube of caulk which *of course* didn't solve the problem. I've offered to have new millwork formed to match the current profile, and I would prime it and paint it myself--I just need installation. Seashore is not returning my calls. I stopped by the office and they promised they'd look into it, but they're thoroughly unresponsive. I give up. Why this problem wasn't apparent on the day of installation is a mystery to me. I think they're probably fine for a job that is conventional and requires no creativity.

Every thing you stated is what we told you including that the facia boards were custom. You had wanted us to pay for this, but we maintain this was never part of the original contract. You did not offer to buy and paint the millwork, but to show good faith, if you want to purchase the new millwork, prime it, and paint it, we will gladly install it at no charge. Very well - I highly recommend Seashore Construction. They won't necessarily be the cheapest option, but they are absolutely top notch and high integrity. I have used them a number of times for projects and I trust that they will not talk me up in pricing but make recommendations that are practical / good for the house and what we need. Always very responsive and very punctual...these guys get things done the right way.
