Bullseye Siding LLC a Family owned and opperated company installing siding, as well as windows and doors, for residential customers within Hunterdon & Warren Counties, NJ. We Provide Free Estimates and our work is 100% Guaranteed

"The service was exceptional! The window installation was very efficient and detail oriented. As they worked all dust/debris was vacuumed and cleaned up. Darek, Michael, and their father explained how the job was going to be done and were very careful not to step on my flowers (which I appreciated). When working inside they even took off their shoes. We would definitely use their services again."

Windows questions, answered by experts

Regularly clean glass and frames, inspect seals, and reapply caulking as needed.

While plywood will keep winds and debris from shattering your windows from the outside, window film can help protect your windows from the inside. Window film can keep a window from shattering. If your windows break, the film can hold the shards of glass in place, reducing the risk of cuts.

While you may sometimes see window film marketed as "hurricane window film," note that it doesn't provide sufficient hurricane protection on its own. It's no substitute for plywood, storm windows, or hurricane shutters.

To keep cold out, look for treatments that sit close to the window frame and are made from thick, insulating materials. Thermal curtains, cellular shades, window quilts, and insulated shutters can all help retain heat. Layering window treatments, like pairing lined curtains with cellular shades, can provide even better insulation by further reducing drafts and heat transfer.

Making windows taller often won’t require structural changes.

Yes, but professionals use specialized equipment and cleaning solutions to safely achieve streak-free, long-lasting results.
