"I needed a new heater for my home sauna. I found Cielo Wellness on Angie’s. They did a great job at a fair price. Not only did they install the heater professionally, they also refurbished my sauna with an oil stain to make it looking fresh. I highly recommend them. Tom Q Manhasset NY"

"After purchasing the "Big Deal" for a "Deluxe Home Surge Protection Plus 12-Point Safety Inspection", I was promptly contacted by One Call to schedule my appointment, which was nice. I also appreciated that I was able to correspond through e-mail, since I was out of town. Before the appointment date, I was asked to provide more information on my electrical panel so that (I was told) the electrician could bring the proper supplies. I couldn't find the panel information, so I instead took pictures and sent them. These showed that I had an older style Pushmatic electrical panel.
On the appointment day when the technician arrived, I learned that my electrical panel could not accommodate a whole-house surge protector because of its age. I felt a bit misled about this because I had sent pictures showing that it was an older panel, so they likely knew at that point that they wouldn't be able to perform the installation. Instead, the technician (who was nice and personable) tried to sell me on a new electrical panel to replace my "obsolete" Pushmatic panel. Both options were for 150 amp panels, with the choice of aluminum ($3954, including whole-house surge protector) or copper ($5,766). I was a bit taken aback by this, as this is a major expense and, again, I believe One Call was aware of my older panel and that the surge protector installation I had purchased through the "Big Deal" would not be able to be installed. At the very least, the Big Deal description should have explained that some (I suspect many) panels cannot accommodate this surge protector installation.
At the time of the visit, I did not commit to spending nearly $4,000 on electrical upgrades, as I wanted to research a bit more to find out if the upgrade was necessary (i.e., is my panel a safety hazard if left as-is?) and to find out if the quoted price for a new panel was reasonable. After speaking to my general electrician, I learned that my current electrical panel really doesn't need upgrading (though it certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to do at some point) and that there's nothing in particular about the type of panel I have that should present a safety concern. Moreover, the quoted price of ~$4,000 is very high, as I learned that a 150 amp panel can be installed for closer to $2000 (or less).
In the end, my impression was favorable about the demeanor and friendliness of the employees I dealt with, but I was not happy that the company was not very forthcoming about the fact that the surge protector could not be installed, and instead used the opportunity to try to sell me on an extremely expensive and (arguably) overpriced upgrade. In that sense, I did not get my money's worth.

"My central AC stopped cooling downstairs. I was called when the appointment time had to be changed because of an emergency. Gabriel (who owns the company) arrived before the rescheduled time. He promptly checked the electrical system before the HVAC unit. Gabriel was indeed friendly and he provided commentary as he proceeded with his analysis and repair. (He also gave tips on how to maintain the unit throughout the year.) Before long, the work was done and my central AC was functioning as before. Top class professional."

"We needed a kitchen sink and faucet, a bathroom sink and faucet, and one toilet replaced. In addition, a leaky faucet in our tub/shower required repair. We had a second toilet replaced at a later date. The sinks and toilets were fairly routine and Mastropiero handled them smoothly and efficiently. They were also very helpful in providing specs before doing the job for what we should buy that would fit and be quality. Other plumbers had told us that in order to fix the leaky tub faucet they would have to break through the wall behind the tub. Mastropiero however was able to do it without having to break wall or tile. The job they did is excellent and likely saved us some amount of money and headaches in subsequent repairs. All the jobs are working well and are very attractive. The three technicians who did the work were professional, friendly and polite, and willing to answer all questions. With all the work that houses require over the years, it is nice to be able to rely on a plumber. We will absolutely use them again."

"My air conditioner was not working so I contacted my home warranty service and they sent a local company representative to checkout the problem. It was a capacitor - the technician installed the part and it has been working ever since."

"The two man team (3 hours) showed up on time as promised. First they told me that the labor didn't include the tools (eg blower etc) but when I told them I confirmed with the office person in advance this was included they brought their tools out. Don't know what the purpose of this move was. Overall the service was great, the two people they sent worked very hard (it was a hot day, very hot) and did a great job but I noticed towards the end of the job about 30 mins before they were already winding down as they also needed to cleanup. Overall very pleased with the price and the service and great people who serviced our landscape"

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.
