Customers say: Quality work

"They are not local to my area. Please, hire local. And this is for Angi: Try not to recommend contractors who are a significant distance away, in this case around 80 miles (and 2 states) away. Great website, appears to be professionally designed and maintained, I like what they do (judging from the content in the website) but I am outside their service area. I don't live in that area. If I owned a home or apartment in that area, I would hire them."

"From beginning to end they were hands on. Project manager Valmir checked in regularly to make sure the job was being done right. His team was very professional and detailed oriented. Felt comfortable asking questions with the contractor to ensure the job was being done right and it was what we wanted done. I love my bathroom beautiful work. Carlos Palomino is the very best when it comes to remodeling. He originally register his company as a handyman. Very quickly people learned that his craftsmanship was the very best. He went from being a handyman to building bran new homes in no time. The difference is he is not going to sub a lot of work out; he is able to do most things himself. Having a general contractor on the job gives you not only excellence but you can count he is on time as well.

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

Adding burnt charcoal to your garden beds and plant pots can yield several benefits, but there are risks involved, too. Charcoal, particularly biochar, can enhance soil structure, improve water drainage, and increase nutrient retention. When activated, charcoal provides key nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, burnt charcoal, especially from briquettes, can inadvertently alter soil's pH levels and become hazardous to plants. Overall, there are better and less risky soil amendments available, such as vermiculite, perlite, or wood chips.

Eco-friendly materials include sustainably-sourced woods, recycled metals, low-VOC paints, and non-toxic sealants, which reduce environmental impact. Using these in repairs promotes sustainability and can improve indoor air quality and overall building health.

Minor fixes like patching leaks or repainting are DIY-friendly, but structural repairs require professional expertise.
