"I messaged Digital Fire & Security late in the evening, and Rick was out the next day at 11 am. He installed four new smoke alarms, was finished in a very short period of time, and was polite and friendly. I would certainly hire him for similar work in the future!"

"I bought a small space heater for our den, but it kept tripping the circuit breaker. Since it had been a while since we'd had and electrician, I made an appointment with Chuck Bronzo after reading his many Angie's List recommendations.

Chuck professionalism was exactly as described by prior customers. He conducted a thorough inspection of our electrical service, specifically the circuit box/breakers. Then he took the time testing out the load on various circuits to see why the space heater was tripping the circuit breaker. He found the outlet we plugged the heater into was connected to a circuit that carried too large a load, and then identified an alternative outlet connected to a different circuit in the same room to use. We haven't had a problem since!

Chuck also thoughtfully labeled each circuit breaker as he was testing them out, so we could tell what circuits each room/appliance corresponded with. Chuck also installed two new tamper-proof receptacles as the old ones were worn and did not properly hold a plug.

Finally, Chuck provided us with a viable permanent heating option for our always-cold den that would not break the bank. We are seriously considering following through. If we do, we will be contacting Chuck for the install!"

"We were pleased with the installation of our fire/security system. The workers explained what they were going to do and showed us how to use the alarm. When they were done the installation, they cleaned up. They also gave us a discount because we went through Angie's List."

"They were punctual and polite. The security system was installed properly. The only problem is our camera installation. The camera can only use wifi network, and they couldn't use Ethernet outlet above the garage installed by the builder. I wish they have told me they had to drill a hole on our brand new brick wall above the garage, and they actually couldn't get through the wall, so the drilling was totally unnecessary and waste of time. They ended up using the camera to cover the hole without giving me any solution to this damage. The camera didn't work before and after they left, and I had sent messages and called the company to get some answers. They finally told me I have to buy a wifi extender to get the camera to work five days later. I had to get the wifi extender, since we are stuck with this company for three years contract, and there is a damage on our brick wall covered by their camera. The camera finally worked. I didn't know they can just make some damages to your house and pretend there was nothing. I wouldn't recommend this company to other people. They are not professional.

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."
