"I want to tell you of the great experience I had with J&J Elite Carpentry. The relationship with them started with the owner Jose Lugo. We had to replace two old staircases that were falling off the wall and also to install hardwood floors in a foyer at the bottom of one of the staircases. After looking over the whole job and taking measurements Jose assured us that the job we needed and wanted could be done. This was important to us because the house is very old and you can imagine that it is not easy to work in old homes. Joseâ s team had to create a staircase around an old sewer pipe in the basement, it was a tricky job and they did a great job of creating a solid staircase to incorporate the pipe - they created the staircase on site. Leo, the head carpenter, ensured that the crew did a good job throughout. Any issues or concerns we had were taken care of. The project ran two days longer than we all expected but that was necessary and they did a beautiful job. Jose was attentive to what was going on and stopped by to see how the work was coming along - he was very pleasant to work with. They stand by their work and that is extremely important. And they cleaned up everything before they left. They did an excellent job - we are happy. We highly recommend J&J Elite Carpentry for your staircases and hardwood floors."

"I hired D Design Woodworking to build a floor mirror utilizing an antique mirror from an English armoire. We discussed the design, the type of wood (maple) to be used and the stain color. I received the mirror yesterday and I couldnâ t be happier. The mirror looks great in the frame and Iâ m extremely impressed with the workmanship. The mirror is very substantial and the stain matches our new bedroom furniture perfectly. I cannot recommend D Design more highly."

The kitchen, the cabinets, sheetrock, spackling, woodwork, moulding, maple floors,were all done professionally and came out great. He worked very patiently with me and my wife. "We partnered with Wilber’s for external painting and repair. This included replacing wood with composite where necessary and removal of wood shutters and replacement with polypropylene ones. What distinguished this company from others was the following: Danny S. was the estimator and initially met with my husband. Just prior to the start of the project, Danny returned with the foreman Olger A. He went through the project again with us and talked to Olger about job specifics. Olger is an amazing foreman, on time, efficient, skilled, detailed and an excellent project manager. Danny returned mid project to discuss the work with us and review a repair with Olger. They also did extra work for us not covered with the additional estimate which was handled very efficiently. Additionally, they did some picky repairs, such as reattaching a leader to the house, which was appreciated. The result was a beautiful house with great curb appeal – the result of good teamwork. We highly recommend them."
