"“I couldn’t be happier with the siding job on my home. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. They explained the process clearly, kept the work area clean, and finished right on schedule. The craftsmanship is excellent—the siding looks beautiful and has completely refreshed the look of my house. I’ve already had neighbors compliment the work! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality siding installation done with care and pride."

"We called Heartland Handyman Services for what we thought was just to paint 2 rooms. Javier showed us there was much more involved. With little to no effort at all, he showed us that the room's window was not seated and secure. The window sill came off with a little tug. Inside the wall were signs of water leaks. In the other room, the floor had been damaged and since it could not bear any weight, we could step through the floor. Heartland had to open up the outside siding, repair the exterior wall, reseal the siding, reseat the windows, insulate the walls, besides the original plan to paint the 2 rooms. He also had to reinforce the outer wall, repair the underflooring and install a new floor."

"Skyline Construction Group was a great choice for installing vinyl siding on my house. Zack and his crew were excellent in completing this project. A man who was in the painting business for over 30 years visited his mother across the street remarked to her that the vinyl siding job on my house was done perfectly. i have had other neighbors compliment me on how great the house looks with the vinyl siding. Zack and his crew went the & beyond the extra mile in sprucing up painting areas that needed repainting. Zack was also excellent, and prompt in answering my questions about my vinyl siding installation. Hats off to Skyline Construction Group team. Highly recommend them for your next home improvement project. Sincerely, May Succop"

"I hired Acorn to re-side my house, along with insulate all of the exterior walls.  The price was fair for the amount of work that was being completed, and was done so in a very timely manner.  Michael came out quickly to speak with us about our options.  He spent two hours with us on his first visit, and helped us understand everything there is about siding and insulation.  He was very thorough, and got us a quote the next day.  Once we made our decision on the type of siding, he came back to show us larger samples.
His team worked efficiently and with care.  Our house looks new.  I would highly recommend Acorn for your siding/insulation needs.

Siding questions, answered by experts

The cost to install board and batten siding averages between $2.50 and $12.50 per square foot, including labor and materials. Major cost factors of this project include the square footage, the siding material, and the local labor rates. Additional costs include the number of windows and doors, the height of the home, and the painting or staining you want done to the siding.

Hardie board is more expensive than vinyl siding. Vinyl siding costs $3 to $12 per square foot, on average, with cost skewing toward the lower end of that range. Hardie board siding costs $7 to $18 per square foot, depending on the style, color, and trim. However, it lasts twice as long and often looks nicer, meaning you’ll see a higher bump in your home value and greater curb appeal from Hardie board.

Not always. The answer depends on your specific vinyl siding product. While some manufacturers advise against pressure washing, others recommend pressure washing as long as pressure is kept below a certain threshold.

Concrete log siding can last several decades, from 30 to 50 years or more, as long as you keep up with proper maintenance. Luckily, concrete log siding is much lower maintenance than typical types of wood siding, so you’ll also have fewer expenses during that time. To keep your concrete log siding in good shape, you’ll simply need to reseal it every two to five years. Confirm with your manufacturer to determine how often to reseal.

Yes, vinyl siding can be installed over existing materials in some cases, assuming the underlying structure is sound and the installation will not cause moisture issues.
