"After we consulted with Joanna regarding our garage organizer, we were so impressed with her ideas and expertise that we decided to also have Bella Systems install a closet organizer for us. We are extremely happy with the results. Having looked online at the cost of do-it-yourself organizers, hiring a professional to do the work was well worth what we paid. The installers showed up on time, worked efficiently and completed both projects in the time frame we were promised. Plus they vacuumed and dusted after they were done. We would definitely recommend Bella Systems to other homeowners."

"Phenomenal experience all around. They took a small, nonfunctional closet, and fully maximized every inch to its fullest potential. My daughter is absolutely thrilled with her new space!"

"This is the second closet system I have gotten from Closets to Adore. Renee is a dream to work with. She understands our vision and makes suggestions about how to achieve it. The quality of the product is excellent. The one in my sonâ  s room was installed a few years back and still looks like the day it got here, with two teenage boys using it daily! The pricing is very fair as well. Renee and Neil communicate clearly through whole process and the install guys came when they said they would and cleaned up when done so that youâ  d never know they were there. My daughter is ecstatic about her new closet. Iâ  m already thinking about my next project and Renee at Closets to Adore will be the first one I call!"

"All about Closets.  Absolutely Fabulous Product and Job.  I am so happy with my custom closet.  George has such an eye for lay out based on the amounts of clothes and accessories you have and how everything can be organized.  The process of ordering was painless. Every thing came in when it was scheduled and his team made sure the job was done right.  The price was also fantastic.  It beat the competition hands down.  George's measurements were impeccable and he was also very easy to work. I would absolutely recommend George the owner to any and all friends or family.  I could not be happier!

"Loni is a fantastic organizer. My family and I had recently moved and we still had boxes littering our bedroom. She helped me unpack and organize my closet and bathroom. She also helped me get rid of some things that I didn't need anymore. With Loni's assistance, I was able to clear out clutter and organize my bedroom drawers, as well. Now I know where my clothing and accessories are and it takes me less time to get ready in the mornings.
Loni has a very supportive and consultative style. She won't push you too hard and she'll give you enough space to make decisions about how to organize things. I strongly recommend her to anyone who needs help organizing their home or office.

Closets questions, answered by experts

You can modernize an old-looking closet by just painting it, but beyond that, consider electric elements like recessed or accent lighting. If this is a large and deep closet, you can consider adding an island to the middle or a nice ottoman on a rug. Luxury closets will have even more items, like felt-lined drawers for watches and jewelry, in-wall safes, electronic shoe storage, or a tablet catalog of their items.

Yes, 12-inch shelves are often considered the standard closet shelf depth for storing folded clothing, shoes, and small containers. However, if you plan to store bulky items such as blankets, baskets, or cleaning supplies, you may want to go deeper. For specialized layouts, an adjustable system can give you more flexibility.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work. This entails pushing back the existing rear or side of the closet, simply moving the wall into either an adjacent room or unused space. For ground-floor closets, this could even be extended to the exterior of the home, but that has its own complications. Bump-outs are a good discussion to have with your contractor if you’re just looking to increase the space a little—not renovate the entire closet space.

Costs range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on size, materials, and design complexity.

When you are securing your DIY home office built-ins to the wall, you should start by locating the wall studs. You'll then want to use long screws to attach the cabinets, shelves, and bookcases directly to the wall studs. Your built-ins will be far too heavy to attach to the drywall alone by using anchors.
