"[Member Name Removed]. I am taken completely by surprise to see this review dated 4/30/15. I have pulled all of your files. We've done three separate jobs for you the first in 2005, one in 2007, and the last one in 2010...over 5 years ago. On all the paperwork I have you signed off on our work as being satisfied with completed work. In 2014 we came back to service a unit that was built 7 years prior to repair a drawer and you wrote that you were satisfied with the completed service. So we were confused to see a negative review placed on 4/30/15, over a year since we provided service and over 5 years since our last build for you. If you have any issue please call our office and ask for me...Wwe are dedicated to providing a good customer experience."
"We are extremely surprised and disappointed to read this review. In looking back, we did three separate projects for you in the beginning of 2014. All three went in very well and were completed to your satisfaction (as written on your installation reports). We have some great pictures of the finished units and they look terrific. These were extremely large and complex projects...there was just one error of measurement which was fixed/adjusted during the installation causing no delays. We serviced your unit in July, making a small adjustment to one of your drawers...this was scheduled quickly and took less than 30 min to complete. I do not recall speaking with you personally so your comments about being unprofessional were especially stinging - but I hope everyone in my organization treated you with professionalism at that is our focus. Roberta (your designer) even went so far as to shop to find the perfect baskets for one of you units to give you as a gift. Again we are sorry to hear anything but customer delight and we hope you are enjoying all your new storage solutions. All the Best. Mike."
"Thank you so much for your great review. It is great to hear such positive feedback - I will be sharing with all employees at our staff meeting today. All the best. -Mike"
As if the late arrival wasn't annoying enough, after the installer finished installing the shelving and had brought his tools to the truck I inspected the shelves and observed that they were noticeably tilted/mis-leveled. To confirm this, I used my own level and confirmed a significant slant. When the installer came back in with a vacuum I brought the issue to his attention and he claimed that he was "going to fix that". He then brought his tools back in and spent another 30 minutes re-installing the unit. Clearly he had no intention of fixing the shelves and would not have done so if I had not challenged it. When he finished, the shelves were level but there was a noticeable gap at the base of the unit between the side and the floor (3/4"). I asked if they could fill it and the installer said he would order a filler, which they would have to come back to install. I withheld part of the final payment to ensure that they would return with the filler.
I received two calls about rescheduling that appointment, both last minute and both at times that I was unavailable. I then got an email from the President of the company about my "outstanding past due balance". I wrote back and explained the entire situation to him. He did not even have the courtesy to respond. Instead, he had an assistant email me to schedule the appointment. She offered me another 90 minute window when they could come to reinstall, which I rejected. Given that I wasted an entire day waiting for the first install I had no intention of doing so again. After significant negotiation I was able to get them to come at a time that was convenient and they installed the filler.
This company clearly does not know the meaning of customer service and has no concept of communication. All I wanted was a phone call on the date of the install explaining that they were running late and giving me a new ETA. Instead, i had to call numerous times and every time was given misinformation. The installer did a poor job and left a mess. The President only cares about his bottom line and not about customer retention or good word of mouth. From top to bottom this company is terrible and I would NOT recommend using them.
"[Member Name]...sorry that your experience was not satisfactory. We have worked hard for over 27 years to provide great work and service and our clients are very important to us. Even for small jobs such as yours we do strive for customer delight. With your job we had some mis-communication...your job was scheduled as an afternoon install on our work schedule...the installer did arrive as planned, complete your job in just over 2 hours. At the end of the install there was a gap you were not happy with due to the floor being out of level. The installer offered to go back to the shop which was close by and get some trim pieces and return to install them...you did not want him to do that because it was too late and you had other committment. My office called you numerous times over two weeks to schedule a convenient time to install trim but were unable to get back in. We finally did connect and came in to install trim which took 20 minutes. In summary, we installed your unit in just over two hours...returned to install the trim piece on your schedule. Your unit looked terrific at the end. Again our apologies for any inconvenience."
