"It looked like new after they weaved in the pieces of wood, and then they sanded it down to a blonde color, and stained it a light walnut... We went with the satin finish because I think floors look terrible with high glass, and it looks absolutely brand new... The guys were amazing to work with.... And yes if I do the upstairs bedrooms with the hardwood floors, I am definitely calling them back. I'm teetering with the fact of putting carpet upstairs in the bedrooms but we'll see if I keep the hardwood, the floors are not in great shape look wise, so in the event I don't carpet...I'm 100% calling them back ... they were very reasonable with their pricing as well, and they were on time.... And finished in a very timely fashion...they were also very helpful moving stuff around for us....."

No, water itself won’t damage your tile—however, when water goes past your grout and tile and seeps into the subsurface or subflooring, it can cause a problem. Solvents dissolve tile adhesive, but the right solvent for the job depends on what type of adhesive you are trying to remove. For instance, dispersion adhesive requires stronger removers, like bile soap or even paint stripper, but some adhesives, like cement-based products, can come off with water and soap or mortar remover.

Using water when cutting stone drastically reduces the amount of dust that comes off the stone. It’s beneficial to cut down on the amount of dust for respiratory and other safety reasons, such as keeping your vision clear while using an electric tool. Even with protective eyewear, the dust can still cloud your safety glasses. You should always wear protective gear when cutting stone.
