"I am both shocked and baffled.We installed LVP and molding in your entire 3-level home except the kitchen, and carpet on the stairs.Upon removing the carpet you were showed the unevenness of the floor.We explained that you could hire a framer to level the beams or we can smooth it enough to install the LVP. You chose the latter. The floor was smoothed sufficiently for the installation.The installers worked up quite a thirst and I'm sorry they left some empties in your house.I visited the house several hours after they finished and you and your husband were very excited about their craftsmanship.We walked from room to room as you pointed out how they even installed molding in the closets and the nice detail under the step into the foyer, etc.We chatted joyfully as you showed me every room on all three levels. None of the aforementioned issues were pointed out. You wrote a check for $13,000 and I suggested you retain $950.00 until the stairs and reducers were done (different trim was needed due to the higher level of the floor). The next day you texted me that sawdust blew on your husband's tools in the garage so you put a stop on the check (illegal!).They cut materials outside and enter through the garage to keep the house as clean as possible.They are in and out often they must leave the garage door open! Then you changed the story and said the bank stopped the check and you got a bank check for the entire amount and I should pick it up.The bank notified me that you stopped payment.On Saturday I picked up the bank check and you said nothing about any of the above except the sawdust in the garage and the water bottles.Re your pictures, the scratches on the floor or on the furniture were not pointed out when I was there on Thursday or on Saturday. I was met with a warm smile both times.You declined my offer to send a furniture repairman as a courtesy.I do not understand your motive, but I pray that you and your family find happiness in your new home."

"So nice that you took the time to write such a wonderful review! I will have been in business for 39 years as of this coming September, and have always done my own sales. Some insurance companies (certainly not all of them) try the bare minimum to see if it flies, knowing that if there is a protest, they will have to cover their obligation. There are certain guidelines to the coverage, and the insured should get all they are entitled. Having your open floor plan with 2 different floors despite the fact that it was continuous to begin with is unacceptable. And the damage did go into a whole other room, as well. So it made sense to cover everything. This is an entitlement per your policy. You selected a floor that was perfect on many levels. The new floor is 100% waterproof, unlike the laminate that was water-damaged, so you should not have this problem again. It has a cork back, so it is warm, soft, and quiet over your concrete. It has an outstanding surface that is very scratch resistant. The look is amazing, especially because it has the beveled edge, is wider than usual, and is 6' long. It looks more like real wood, without the upkeep issues. The color was perfect for your decor and flowed well through every room. Unlike before, we were able to do it without any transitions, so it was so very elegant. Thank you for acknowledging the outstanding work of our installers. I'm sure you will be very happy with your selection. It has the perfect combination of warm, yellowish hues with taupe grain that will pick up your yellow walls perfectly. It will give the room the happy, cheerful vibe you want. Your decor is very embracing and friendly, and the planking is just the right touch! It has a thick cork underlayment so it will be warm on the concrete floors and has an excellent decibel rating, so it will be very sound absorbent for the dogs you will be caring for. "Thank you for your feedback. You had water damage from you dishwasher and the floor was soft underneath the existing laminate floor. I was unable to determine how extensive the damage was and how much subfloor had to be replaced without removing the laminate. Typically, the adjacent dry subfloor will draw liquid from the wet one and water can spread underneath the floor covering, which conceals the extent of the damage. When we ripped up the flooring, it was revealed that we had to replace more plywood and charge accordingly. This possibility was discussed with you prior to the order, and was in writing on our agreement. Since this is a common scenario, your insurance company should have left the claim open and included any newly discovered damage. Perhaps a phone call to them will elicit reimbursement. Glad you are happy with the luxury vinyl plank, which is 100% waterproof, and our excellent installation crew. Please call us when you are ready for the other rooms."

You purchased 3 homes that were filthy and falling apart, but you saw the diamonds in the rough. You followed your vision and made a huge transformation at a low cost, primarily in paint and flooring. It is vital that these elements are selected in conjunction and not in isolation. There needs to be a harmonious effect to optimize the selling price and make it move. That is why I bring paint samples with me and offer assistance in this process. I love the carpet you selected for your master bedroom. It is 100% continuous filament nylon (of course!) by Shaw Industries, so it will last a very long time. It is highly stain resistant, including pet stains, and very crush resistant. You wanted something very neutral, yet not boring, and a change from the previous carpet. The multi-tone neutral was perfect! It fulfilled your needs, and kicked it up a bit by getting multi-tone. It is only in one room, so adding a little flair is a nice idea. Since the bedroom is casual and laid back, the multi-tone emphasized that relaxed feel. I'm also glad you chose the thickest level. (If an entire house can be built, a floor can be evened out!) It is worth the extra money to have this done. Your home is usually your biggest investment, and an uneven floor is STRUCTURAL. It is well worth the relatively small additional cost to have this done. Now your floor is beautiful and flows nicely from room to room without any bumps or elevations. I am also so happy that you decided on the 5-1/4" molding with the shoe. What a difference the molding makes! It is a perfect frame for the new floor and gives the entire house a richer, more elegant look. It was good to install it in the newly carpeted room as well. You didn't merely get new flooring for your home----you transformed it! There are no more vestiges of structural imperfections. "Thank you for your feedback. As per my contact with you after the installation, you were satisfied with the carpet, the workmanship, and the clean up of the newly carpeted area. The installers laid the carpet to perfection and vacuumed afterward, as is done with every installation. Your particular carpet and padding had accumulated many years of sediment and grit. The decades of usage caused the grit to penetrate the carpet and settle into the padding. Also, the padding had deteriorated over the years creating a fine dust. The installers had to rip up an entire basement of this carpet and padding and lug it to their vans for removal. Although they take great pains to try to clean up, their focus is on the carpeted area and they missed the bit of sand in the foyer. They invited you to inspect the job upon completion, but you declined. If they had known about it, they surely would have cleaned it up. They went to the trouble of vacuuming the new carpet and they certainly would have included that corner of the foyer as well. When I contacted you that evening and you made me aware of the situation, they had gone home for the day. You said you were going to sweep it up yourself so I did not think further action was desired. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I wish you many happy years with your new, beautiful berber carpeting."

"Thank you for your review. The carpet you selected is 100% solution-dyed loop-pile nylon, which is perfect for a busy dental office. It will last a lot longer than other fabrics and will not fade. All of the seams are sealed to prevent edge ravel and the carpet has a superior tuft bind which makes the carpet zipper-proof. You wisely chose a warm color to soothe the nerves of the more jittery clientele, and we created and installed carpet base instead of vinyl cove base to lessen the commercial feel of the atmosphere.
