I realize this will sound like I'm their PR person, but I'm not. I have no affiliation with this business whatsoever.
They were very responsive every step of the way. The most convenient time for me to have the work done was when I was on a business trip, and the Wilburn folks even gave me a ride to the airport. Paul emailed me each day while I was gone with a status report of what was happening on my car that day and what the next step was. My flight home was delayed slightly because of bad weather, which put me picking up the car past "quitting time" for the shop. Paul stayed late to meet me and make sure everything was to my liking.
The work done was excellent. My four-year-old car looks brand new (at least the area they worked on does). Paul even had his folks buff out some scratches. Big thumbs up, both for the work done and for great customer service.

We had a fender bender that resulted in a huge and quot;squishand quot; of our left front fender. We called the insurance company, selected our auto body shop and headed that way...amazingly, the rental car was already at the shop waiting for us, we had a technician walk through the entire process (including an inspection of the car), discussed options and were out the door in about 15 minutes! The team there has a webcam set-up so you can see the work on your car at any time, and they send pictures via e-mail regularly, called with questions and updates - and basically made it the most efficient and pain free car fix we have ever had! They clearly knew how to manage the process and keep the client as their main focus. Even better - the car looked and operated perfectly when it was complete! We will always recommend Wilburn to family and friends if they have a need to fix their car.

I have mixed feelings about Wilburn auto body. The first time I got rear ended, the process couldn't have went smoother. They had me in a rental while they replaced the back of my car. They even took a panel off and replaced a part that was not damaged for no extra cost. It took about a week and I felt my car ran smoother than ever. That was around October of 2012.
The second time was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. I got rear ended again and this time the driver was going much faster. The back bumper and window had to be replaced as well as the side panel of the car. I took my car in December 20th and dropped it off since I was flying home until the new year. I was told I would probably be able to pick it up when I got back to Charlotte on January 2nd when they opened. Around December 30th I got a call saying the person who was supposed to take care of my car didn't want to do it anymore so someone else would be taking over the job. Needless to say my car was not going be done for some time. I kept getting calls from Wilburn with no time table and additional work that needed to be done. It wasn't until January 20th I actually got a call saying that I could pick up my car. I was so happy to be out of the rental. As I drove my car back to work, I heard a bumpy noise every time I hit the breaks. I obviously had to go back in to make sure there was nothing wrong, but I couldn't go until the weekend since I had work. The next day it started to rain and I naturally put on my back wiper blade. Funny thing is, it was put on upside down. The wiper was going against the paint of my car. Luckily there was no damage done, but when I called to report the issue, the receptionist laughed and told me she was sorry. I came in and had it fixed within a few minutes that weekend. They also heard the noise my car was making. They had to readjust the lining of the axel or something. It runs fine now. No harm no foul, but the second go around was much more stressful and unprofessional than the first time I was there.

The shop did an excellent job with the repair work. The paint job matched the rest of the car perfectly. They took extra caution to ensure the paint was completely dry before releasing my truck even though I was anxious to get my truck back. There is also a car rental shop onsite.

The work was satisfactory but took longer than expected. They said that the parts received the first time from the supplier were damaged and had to be returned and replaced.
