"I chose Adore Construction based on the great reviews that were out there. I can now tell you they're all true. I originally called them to replace the chase cover on my chimney, and to do a cleaning and video inspection as well. Adore was the first company out of three to reply to me and Andy was quickly available for an estimate. He showed up on time and was extremely professional. He gave me a great education about the project and a great estimate as well. I was so impressed with the care and workmanship of the chimney job, I had them come back a second time, a couple of weeks later, to replace my gutters. Andy and his team did another fine job, on time, and a great price. Showed great care for my home, cleaned everything up and hauled it away. Once again, so impressed, I had him come back a third time to replace the cap on my flue. Adore is everything you want from a construction company working on your home. I would highly recommend them to you."

He did a thorough job removing the old, loose mortar from the firebox walls and applying fresh mortar, and he also added insulation at the top of the firebox as promised. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is due to the cleaning method. We had discussed using suction from the top of the chimney to draw dust upward and prevent it from entering the room, but instead he used a vacuum hose from the firebox. This approach wasn’t as effective and allowed some dust into the living space. He mentioned that the draft would prevent backflow, but in this case it didn’t work entirely as expected. Overall, Jason was punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with. It would have been even better if the originally discussed suction method had been used."
