"Abraham did an excellent job of getting clogged bathroom sink and a shower stall working again. He additionally changed some old pipes in the basement. I particularly appreciate the fact that he took his time to tidy up after self and didn’t leave us with a mess. I would hire him again."

"Needed leaky water valve repaired and sewer system unclogged. Came within 45 minutes of my desperate phone call. Installed new valve and new copper piping. Could not flush clog from inside, so came next day and dug 7' hole in front garden to remove the clog. Also installed vertical pipe to access any future sewer problems. Work crew had to dig out two big bushes to access the old sewer pipe at my home's foundation but replanted them along with any tulip bulbs they displaced. Truely considerate of my early spring garden! Courteous, mindful of property, work done in a timely fashion at a fair price. Explained each step in the process and why it was needful. Very pleased with 'Moose' and his work team."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Replacing faucets isn’t the easiest task, but with the tools and technical know-how, you can complete this project in an hour or two. If you don’t have any experience installing faucets, you’ll want to hire a plumber to do the work. The average service call cost of a plumber is $333, but it can also give you the opportunity to learn how to install one for future reference.

The best types of piping for underground main water lines are PVC and PEX pipes because of their ability to be buried and withstand high levels of water pressure. PVC and PEX pipes are resistant to rusting and corrosion, which makes them ideal for transporting water. Copper is another efficient type of pipe for underground water lines because of their resistance to rusting and leakage. Again, copper pipes are on the higher end of the price range.

Trenchless sewer replacements are actually a great solution for sewer lines located under concrete. A professional can still sleeve and burst old piping to make room for a new one without having to dig up your slab.

Repiping your plumbing is when you remove the old plumbing system and replace it with newer, more modern plumbing and drainage pipes. Typically, older homes are repiped to upgrade the plumbing system. If you have frequent issues with your home’s plumbing system or live in an older home with outdated pipes, consult a professional plumber about the best course of action for repiping your plumbing.

You can try a few things to figure out where a water leak is coming from. Check all of your appliances and fixtures, make sure the water pressure is normal on your faucets, and look for signs of water damage. Some signs of a leaky pipe include water stains on ceilings and walls, paint or wallpaper that starts bubbling, a musty smell, or visible signs of mold.
