"Keith arrived early, set up shop and went to work. He did a phenomenal job. Took his time and did it right. Great price too. I have vinyl floors that were dirty, stained, and sticky. My floors now have their original shine! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in my building."

"Everything was explained in detail for me. I was also given suggestions on appropriate floor cleaner to use. Spot treatments were done first and I was told which spots would not be able to come up off the carpet."

"Angie's list had a coupon. Also, A1 cleaners will go within a hundred mile radius. It took about an hour to clean three rooms, hallway and stairwell. They use an alcohol base so that the floors dry quickly and it removed stains."

"They also hauled away the old carpeting, and clean up after themselves.  I was very happy with their work.  I would recommend them to anyone.  If I decide to carpet again, I will definitely call them again to do the work.  They had a lot of choices, they let me pick out what I like, and they installed it and did a great job."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

If you’re cleaning or repairing laminate floors, avoid anything abrasive like heavy-grit sandpaper or steel wool. Because the image layer is protected by a topcoat, the image layer is more vulnerable to scratches and damage if the topcoat is damaged. And if the image layer is scratched, it can reveal the wood fiber core.

If your floor is still sticky after mopping, chances are you used too much or too little of the cleaning solution. Using too little won’t get all of the grime off, but using too much can leave its own residue. Refer to the cleaning solution’s instructions and dilute it as directed.

Yes, polished concrete floors are worth it for homeowners who want durability, style, and low maintenance in one sleek flooring surface. You get the modern visual appeal of stone or tile with far less upkeep and far less cost. Polished concrete flooring is tough enough for high-traffic areas, it’s a great choice for people with allergies, and it’s easy to clean. If your existing concrete is in good shape, polishing it can give you solid value that shines on for years.

To maintain wood floors, sweep them regularly and mop using wood-safe cleaners. To protect the floors from wear and extend their lifespan, you should apply a sealant periodically and refinish them when needed.
