James and the whole crew were very professional. Even though we had tight timelines, they were able to adjust and get the job done. James exactly knew what’s needed and how it needs to be done. He was very helpful throughout the process. Price was very reasonable and the crew cleaned everything up before they left. They did an awesome job!

I hired All Flortec to refinish a 13 step oak staircase and install approximately 450 square feet of 3/4" x 3" prefinished oak flooring. The finished job looks terrific and I am very satisfied with the outcome and workmanship. There were, however, a few bumps along the way. Communication with Jim could have been more timely. Day to day scheduling and timing was not always clear. And most of the contractors spoke very little English making it difficult to have my questions answered.

We had a great experience with Flortec. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. The job was done in less time than expected and it looks amazing. I wish we did it sooner but the it seemed so hard to do with furniture in the house, well not to the professionals. It was as painless as a furnished whole house floor refinish could be!

When we wanted to hire someone to come an do our bedroom, no one wanted to do the job because it was a small room. When Jim from Flortec called he said he could do it within a couple days and he did. The refinishers were professional, polite and did a great job. Want them to come back when we are ready to do our kitchen and spare bedroom. Thank you Flortec!

Overall, really good job. Upstairs wood floors were sanded and refinished. Downstairs had a floating vinyl flooring installed.

They refinished my floors, they were neat and meticulous. The results were beautiful I could not tell they were the same floors, we were extremely pleased with the outcome.

All Flortec did an amazing job! I had a short window to work with since I was putting the family house on the market. James was very accommodating and responsive to my questions and inquires prior to, during, and after the project was completed. I would highly recommend them to family, friends, and associates.

James the owner had advised that he can replace my carpets with solid oak in 2 days and I did not know that this would be impossible to do in just 2 days but I found out the hard way. His crew rushed through to get paid and come to find out that to do this project correctly (from speaking with 2 other hardwood fl companys) you need at least 4 days. 1 day to install hardwood floors, then apply the first coat of urethane finish, then a second day to apply 2nd coat of urethane, the 3rd day to apply the semi gloss (to match rest of the floors in apartment) and a 4th day to apply another coat of semi gloss. Each coat needs 24 hours to dry and James and his crew never told me the truth. Instead they rushed and did not apply the coats that it needed. Sloppy job and the owner James would not even come to the house to inspect what his crew did but just argued with me that this was done correctly. Before hiring him, I told him that this has to be done and he had a full week, if he needed that amount of time but instead they rushed and did it incorrectly. Additionally, his crew left me all the garbage and used up pieces of wood in living room and I had to beg one of the guys when they came back to do a section of the hallway to take it and he did but not before I asked several times. Terrible job and now when they did come back the day my tenants to add a coat of semi gloss like they were supposed to do, my tenants moved in that same day and it never dried. This was a result of James and his crew and after he debited my credit card, I'm left with a floor that was never done right and will have furniture and foot prints for sure since it was never given enough time to dry. I have a picture to prove that they never blended it to match the rest of the floors, which is what I initially discussed with James, the owner. I'm very disappointed in how James handled this and now left paying for a job that will need to be re-sanded and refinished the way it should have been from the beginning if this project was done professionally. I guess even with home advisor you can still get burned. Terrible Job James to take someone's hard earned money and not do the job the right way. I then asked to give me someone in writing advising that when my tenants move out that he will come back and re-sand and restain it the way it should have been if it was done correctly and he did not give me any assurances to try to make up for the very sloppy job. What professional company leaves their garbage behind? What professional company promises to do the project correctly and lies to the customer about how long it would take to properly complete it? I'm very disappointed in home advisor for recommending me this company. I have pics if anyone wants to see and it will clearly prove what I'm saying here on this review.

what I liked about James compared to a few others I received quotes from was the can do attitude. I also found that his quote for reasonable for the project at hand. His flooring installers are excellent. They had to rip out tile in my kitchen, laminate tile that was under carpet in my family room and replace with white oak to match the rest of my flooring. The project was completed in 3 days. I would recommend all flortec.

We couldnt agree on the outcome of the job but we talked it over and settled everything.
