"Kyle was wonderful to work with. We had very heavily soiled carpet in the basement following construction. Kyle did an excellent job and will be returning soon to clean the remaining carpets throughout our home."

"Tom was perfectly on time for the estimate and for the job.  He went right to work, took exactly the amount of time he said he would, and the result is exactly what I expected it to be.  I don't think re-grouting my entire shower was in the estimate, but Tom saw that my shower needed it, so he did that too.  He also re-caulked more than what was in the estimate, without raising the quoted price.  Tom took his time to explain the follow-up I needed to do (waiting a certain amount of days before using the shower, how I can clean up the leftover silicone residue, brand names for new shower doors, etc).  This was a relatively small job, but I did ask Tom for a detailed quote to re-rile my bathroom floor, and I will certainly be calling on him to do that when the time comes.

"Julian , the owner was extremely responsive and very professional. He came right away to quote the job, gave a date , followed up , sent his insurance and was here early to complete the job. He was very nice, very neat , extremely conscientious, and did an amazing job. My tub looks brand new, he took his time , cleaned up and left it immaculate. His pricing was very fair and I would recommend him to anyone including my building and have already given his business card to several friends. He was a fine young man very respectful and cares about his work. HIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY ! thank you Julian! Janine B."

"Bill is one gem of a person. He is prompt in returning your calls. He listens to what you need; takes time to explain things; never rushes; and never tries to sell you what you don't need. As an example, he told me that some of the areas I was asking him to clean could be cleaned cheaply by a maid service and I will save money! Or that cleaning of our hardwood will not get us much as it really needed a resanding. This is the second time we have hired Bill for carpet cleaning and I will definitely recommend him to any one without any reservations. We plan to continue working with him for as long as he stays in business."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

While every professional home cleaner will have their own preference, most will use a commercial floor cleaner specifically manufactured for laminate floors. They will also use a vacuum or microfiber cloth to remove loose grit before breaking out the mop. Some cleaners will also make a final pass with a dry and clean cloth to dry your laminate floors for a smooth shine.

Yes, options like MDF or polyurethane require less upkeep while maintaining style.

Floor polishing isn’t technically necessary, but it will help your floors last longer and hold up better to scratches. Floor polish is a thin coating that fills in small abrasions on your floor and makes them less visible, and it can act as a protective covering that prevents future damage to the floor underneath. Floor polish helps protect against water and moisture, so it’s a great service if you want to extend the lifespan of your floors. Additionally, polish makes your floors shine, making your home look cleaner and more inviting.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.
