On the day of the installation, John arrived on time and immediately went to work.  I noticed immediately how friendly he was.   As I was a "home improvement "novice, John patiently listened to my vision of how I wanted our backsplash to look once it was finished.  The project started small but ended up a bigger project.  I ended up having to order more tiles in order to cover the expanded areas where I had wanted the travertine to be installed as well - which included the kichen desk/office.  

John finished the project in 2 phases - 1st phase being the initial installation and grouting of the tiles that were originally ordered for the kitchen backsplash and the 2nd phase - completion of the expanded areas to be tiled (once the 2nd shipment of the tiles arrived) and sealing throughout.  The finished product was beautiful!  Although we had relocated to NY in the interim, John took the time to take photos of the finished kitchen backsplash and send it over to our delight!  

As we were so happy with his work, even prior to the completion of our own kitchen, I had recommended John to my brother who had also been frantically looking to hire the right person to install his kitchen backsplash.  John was incredibly kind enough to make arrangements in his schedule to drive over 2 hours to Butler, NJ (one way) to work on the next project.  We look forward to working with John again on our next project (in the near future) to re-tile the master bath and shower."
