"Project: Severe damage to our drywalls due to Wallpaper removal. Walls were stripped all the way down to the paper. There was no way that an inexperienced homeowner could repair this damage!! We needed an expert! Thankfully, we used HomeAdvisor and found Richard from Accentuate Walls! Demeanor: Richard was truly a pleasure to speak with. He is extremely patient and understanding of these unique times!! We had 3 children virtually attending school, a crazy 15-month-old puppy, and adults working from home. He was understanding and supportive of this unique situation. Not to mention, he rolled with the times...there is never a dull moment at our house...lol and he completely rolled with it all! Professionalism: Richard is punctual, honest, reliable, and extremely knowledgeable. He was detailed and clear when describing the work to be conducted, the process it takes, and the finished product. He was readily available for all questions and concerns. Most importantly, he took the time to explain each step of the project and walked my husband and me through the process from start to finish! He went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed each step of the way (We learned so much about this craft and skill just from speaking and working with him!). Richard also provided great suggestions and resources for the current project and additional projects. We bought a fixer-upper and can use all the assistance, suggestions, and feedback! We are grateful to have his experience, incites, and knowledge within the field!!! Craftmanship/Finished Work Product: Richard is extremely knowledgeable about his craft! There are not many individuals who are certified to complete a project such as ours (severe drywall damage) or use the specific technique our drywall repair. The severe damage required skim coating on ALL of our living room and dining room walls!! Not to mention the hallway too! It was a disaster that needed a highly qualified individual like Richard! The finished work was truly BEAUTIFUL! His work is flawless and impeccable!! It was above and beyond my expectations! I highly recommend using Richard for drywall and plaster needs!!!"

"Dan and his team are so very friendly, most capable, punctual, respectful of my time and house, available by phone/text with immediate response time. They did dry wall install/repair/replace & paint (walls & ceilings) in 4 rooms + 2 hallways + 3 bathrooms + installed a ceiling (+paint) in the basement. Very reasonable price. "We were not pleased with the work of this company.  While the price is right, there were so many things that went wrong on the job that I'm not sure if I can remember all of them.
First of all, when I hire a painter, my assumption is that they will work on my job only until the project is complete.  This was not the case.  The painters left the job for days on end, being called to other locations.  The work was sloppy in numerous places - we had to keep calling them back to correct things.  I also had bedroom furniture damaged when the workers moved my end tables to another room - they didn't take the care necessary to protect them.  Walls under light covers/cable covers were not painted - they were left the original color of the rooms.  My bedroom wall has cracked in one place already - as they didn't do the repair needed in that area evidently to prevent that from happening.  Paint has chipped in other areas - something which should not happen so soon after completion.
At exterior painting they also didn't take care to protect elements of the home properly.  I had paint spatter covering newly installed railings at my front walkway, stains applied incorrectly on wood lattice which they installed (numerous empty areas - should have used a spray gun for that or painted it before installation), totally ruined my exterior balcony door with using too thick a layer of paint on it.  There were paint brush hairs all over the door as well, paint on screens (why they weren't removed or covered is beyond me), spattered paint on a custom mailbox, and the same on our house number plaque.  
There is more, but I'll just leave it at it was an extremely sloppy job which took literally WEEKS to complete and I was told it would take less than 1 week.  
While there were some circumstances that made the job take longer (some weather related and some of his workers having personal problems), the amount of errors exceeded what would be considered excusable.
The only good thing I can say is that from far away, the house looks ok and, the owner Phil (others mention a different name, not sure why) tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this.

They spent approximately 40 full days worth of work on our house and at the end of every day the work area, our yard, and our house was always clean and immaculate, while still making good progress. "Excellent! I can't say enough good things about this project. We live in a 1920 Dutch Colonial, our walkway was falling apart. Miguel gave us samples to look at that would match our front Brick porch. The brickyard he sent us to allowed us to bring samples home to compare. He ordered what we wanted and within 4 days began the project. He came early in the morning and stayed well into the evening and completed the job in 2 days from demolition and removal of the old walk to the installation of the new one. He seeded the lawn that edged it. We selected him because he a patio and driveway and walkway for our nextdoor neighbors. We've lived here since 1974 and people trust the contractors we use. We highly recommend him and we always like to hire local owner operated businesses. For an additional fee he planted 2 trees in the front of the house. We are very satisfied."

"We were very pleased with the owner, Peter, and would definitely use him again. He and his crew mate, Frank, were reliable, responsible and professional. As the owner of the company, Peter was also hands on with our bathroom remodel which surprised us since we had dealt with contractors in the past who just priced out the job and sent out a crew to perform the work. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. We were delayed a couple of days from the anticipated start date which Peter had let us know prior to the start date. This also changed the anticipated completion date but in the end we were told it would take approximately two weeks from start to finish and it was. We have told all our friends that if they ever need a contractor, we would recommend Peter. It was a pleasure working with Peter and Frank."
