"I am not happy at all with this company. In the quote they said mowing, weedwacking but they missed weedwacking the entire side of my house even thought I showed them the weeds when they quoted me. Also mowed the lawn and mowed over sticks and branches. I have never had a landscaper not rake up when they were done and remove regular debris. Also went into my yard which is privacy fenced without having someone call or let me know to ensure that the dogs were in the house. If I hadn't heard them the dogs would've got out of the yard. Then because I wasn't happy with the service instead of trying to make this right and work with me he'd rather lose the business. I should of read reviews as I am not the first I see that had an issue with this company. Beware this company is not concerned with customer satisfaction he is only concerned with homeowners agreeing with him and if not he cancels your service. If I could give negative stars I would."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. After some consideration, I decided to take his advice and returned the original filter to have him install his recommended system. After struggling with murky water all summer, l admit, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure that anything would truly work. But Erik's recommendation exceeded even his own predictions. Within just two days, the water was crystal clear! I didn't really think that was possible. There were a few challenges during installation and I admit this was 100% due to a few things I had set up prior to meeting Erik. But he handled them seamlessly, troubleshooting as needed. For the issues that couldn't be addressed that day, Erik provided me with helpful suggestions on how to finish the job myself. While I initially found the price a little high, after seeing the fantastic results, answering my many questions (including a few the following day), and delivering on everything he promised, I can confidently say he earned every cent. If you're looking for quality service, prompt responses, and impressive results, I highly recommend First State Ponds. Erik and his team are truly top-notch."

"I had an old refrigerator, microwave and some other things to be removed from my backyard. Robert was the original guy I I contacted. We talked pricing and then arranged a Time for pickup. Vinny was the worker that came out on time I may add he introduced himself and got straight to work it took him about not even 15 minutes to get all the stuff on the trailer. We talked for a bit and he informed me that they were a construction company that also did repairs and to keep them in mind if I ever needed anything which I will I've added them to my contact list. I think Robert and Vinny are phenomenal guys. They were both professional and friendly at the same time. I gave them five stars but that really not enough to describe how they made me feel like a special and valued customer. He installed the first fan and that’s when we realized it didn’t work. Michael moved onto the second fan while I ran out to Lowe’s to purchase another fan. Once the second fan was up and running, he went back and removed the first fan and installed the new one I had purchased. Michael wrapped up the broken one for us to return. Michael went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciated it. He was friendly, tidy (he took all of the trash from the three ceiling fan boxes) and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Michael again or recommend him to our neighbors."
