"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"Central a/c was not producing cold air. I called Joyce (based on positive Angie's List reviews and $10 coupon) and made an appointment for Thursday PM but requested Wednesday standby. The serviceman came Wednesday early afternoon and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. A filter and capacitor needed replacing. The replacement costs were more or less in line with industry norms. Although I would like to see the $79 service call charge applied to the actual repair cost, the service was efficient and professional.

"Brian and his partner are excellent businessmen and experienced HVAC professionals. I hesitated to hire them because they are a small outfit and i couldn't even find a website for them, initially. But listen, man,we all have to start somewhere.Brian worked for major HVAC outfit. He came to talk about a new furnace system. We are in the midst of several home projects.Roof,Septic,Deck,Furnace.Money is tight. Other, big name companies, tried to insist my boiler was defective. My oil tank decrepit and my whole system about to fail. One Aquastat and one pre-igniter later,Brian had me up and running. I believe that he has bought me another couple years. My system will need replacing and Clear All will be my go to experts. Thanks a ton,Brian. We needed to buy some time.Your honesty and professionalism and well just your pleasant demeanor has shown me that you are out to make a profit, but you don't gouge the customer. You don't try to scare or intimidate them into a new system, and you don't try to justify (as others have done) exorbitant prices for a boiler and installation. It's sad ,really, that initially i hesitated to use Brians service. Why? Because he was much lower than the major companies. Was his work shoddy ? Or were the other companies way waaaaay overpriced? In this day and age we all know that most businesses are trying to get rich quick.Get as much as you can out of your customer. I believe Brian,is trying to build a business and provide a service to us all, while making a decent living for his family. I respect that Brian. You guys are the real deal. I hope someone reads this and decides to try clear all cooling. Sincerely,Al & Desiree Leavitt"

"We hired John to repair our master bathroom. There was rot and ants behind the walk-in shower as well as some mold and damage to one of the wall boards and some floor tile damage. We decided to remove the shower and make it a 1/2 bath instead since the room was a little too small to begin with. John and his subcontractors were prompt, on time, and on budget. He did an amazing job matching up the flooring, eliminating the shower, and installing a linen closet it its place. The entire job, from demo through finish, took them less than a week and it came out perfectly. I'm very happy with the results and would hire John and team again in a heartbeat."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, integrating sustainable practices and energy efficiency into plans is common.

An architect is usually involved in the process of determining the layout and structural features and requirements of the home itself, taking into account the local codes, climate, and materials needed to make the home structurally sound. Architects may communicate more with contractors and subcontractors throughout the building process. In comparison to architects, interior designers typically focus on the aesthetics of a home interior and possibly exterior, helping the homeowner decide on color schemes, textures, and materials to incorporate into the design.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

Yes, such as using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs for long-term savings.

It is technically possible to draw your own blueprints, but the process is extremely involved and really demands help from an expert. A professional architect has an understanding of design elements, interior design, the functionality of different rooms in a home, and how everything from furniture, outlets, and light switches should be laid out to serve you and your family best. Hiring an architect for blueprints can get expensive, but it’s the most responsible way to begin a new construction project. If you’re keen on DIYing, you could consider starting the process and then having a professional take over.
