"This is an outstanding tree service. We hired them to take down 1 over 100ft pine tree and one maple about 55 ft. The employees of this company were so conscientious about their work and some of the hardest working men we have ever seen. The men who climbed to the top of the 100 ft tree were amazing. The work was done with safety the top priority and quality following. The owner Mario, was here the entire job and ensured the clean up was done as before they arrived. Not only do we rate there work as outstanding, out of the three estimates we received, their price was the best. We highly recommend this service."

Small jobs welcome

"Had a 140 ft tall pine, next to my deck. One tree service turned down the job as too risky. Another wanted thousands. Limb & Log handled the issue professional and miraculously. They pay attention to details and explain everything as they go. Great price. Awesome results."

"We couldn't be happier with the service! We started with Coyne Properties back in the Spring for a yard cleanup including some weed whacking and the first mow of the year. Needless to say; We've had them coming back every week to maintain our lawn care. The team is reliable, professional, and always does an outstanding job. Simply can't say enough; If you're looking for a dependable lawn care company that truly cares, I highly recommend them!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

You can use a chainsaw, but it won’t remove the entire stump or root ball and is not a recommended method. It takes quite a bit of physical work to achieve and will likely dull or ruin your chainsaw. Instead, consider using salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, stump grinding, or burning to kill a tree stump. These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.

Palm trees aren’t much different than your typical tree removal. Removing a palm tree is a standard procedure as long as pros have the proper tools and supplies. For DIYers, however, there are some risks associated with palm tree removal. Palm trees have spiky fronds, bark, and patches of hefty wood. So, it’s best to let an experienced tree service pro remove a palm tree.

The costs vary from $250 to $5,000 per tree, depending on the size, complexity of the trimming, and labor.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)
