Collins Tree Service has completed 3 different tree service contracts for us over the past year+. Each of the crews on the different days were consistently excellent, highly skilled, friendly, and polite. They also took great care to avoid damage to the landscaping as much as possible.

The team were punctual, courteous, and worked quickly. Also took the time to clean up after job was done. It was like they were never there when done. I will hire this company again in the future.

Cost was high for 45 minutes of work.

I have entered the previous entry for Collins Tree Service on 5-5-2018 Brian C I meet with Bill today after I emailed him and he was a true businessman. We talked and came to and very good understanding of what work was done and what I misunderstood. He was a true gentleman and I can not say enough good things about a owner who takes time to meet and discuss my issues from work done on April 2018. I would absolutely recommend Bill as the best business owner and tree removal business Thank you Bill for your work ( we even took time to look at the lawn I am redoing before he left.) I was very happy with Collins Tree Service. From start to finish it was easy process. First appointment: Mr Collins showed up on time, was respectful of my concerns, answered all my questions and promptly sent a quote. Collins prices were comparable to other companies. I chose Collins because it was clear he was on his game as business owner and that I would be able to schedule a date when work would be done. Other companies gave me the "we will call you when we can send a crew" but this would not work for me as I needed to be here on-site when work was done as some of the trees were partly owned by neighbors. Bill listened to my concerns and put me on the schedule on one of my days off. Granted it was several weeks out but it was a date that was perfect for me and I greatly appreciated that. I understood that if it rained, we would have to reschedule but for me, being able to set a date was very important. The day of the work, the 3 men who showed up were good-natured, courteous and clearly competent. They arrived right on time, the foreman met with me to review the details and discuss set up and while not required, I appreciate that they took a few minutes to say hello to my shy dog so she would be more at ease with them on the property. While work was being done, they worked efficiently and clearly were adhering to safety standards and I had zero concerns for safety, theirs and that of my neighbors and my property, while they were here. I had 3 larger trees taken down, one that was hard to get too, 3 smaller trees and a bunch of shrubs were removed from foundation. They also trimmed a spruce tree that was overhanging my roof and my neighbor was very satisfied that they took what was necessary to prevent damage to my roof but did not take so much to harm his tree or make it look awful. After they left, all the loose limbs and debris had been removed from the lawn and actually my driveway was much cleaner then before they started. I have worked with many many contractors over the years and the experience with Collins tree service, with owner and with his crew, was textbook in what a positive experience with contractor should be! I have already recommended them without hesitation to 3 of my neighbors.

Awesome !!! This was one of the most professional, friendly, and diligent companies that we have ever hired. Bill (owner) called me immediately and set up an estimate followed by an appointment to remove the tree. The group was extremely professional, accurate and friendly....it was a joy to watch the operation as they were so in sync with each other. The clean-up was more than we ever could have expected. I highly recommend Collins Tree Service, and will use their services again.

This review is for a service provided roughly a year ago so my memory may be a little fuzzy. Bill was easy enough to work with, and his crew was very prompt, friendly, and professional. They went to town on my property that was full of 40-60 foot trees and brought down around 10-12 of them. The only thing I really remember was was the speed at which his arborist was able to shimmy up the trees and get to work.

It took a while to determine how to remove the tree because it was in an inaccessible location on my property. With cooperation from my neighbors, the tree was removed by a crane situated in my neighbor's driveway. Once the crane was in place, the tree was removed quickly and clean-up was excellent.
