"Electrical & Security Solutions are the best! I have needed their services more than once to replace lights, a ceiling fan and also to install a new electrical box and breaker for our garbage disposal. Tyler promptly responded every time I called and he and Casey are both friendly, efficient and skillful. Aside from the excellent service, the qualities I appreciate the most is honesty for what work needs to be done and how Tyler is also very budget consciousness."

"It was a absolute pleasure working with the Wilson Brothers team from sales, site planning and install. The install and electrical teams were very professional and demonstrated in depth knowledge of the product and their craft. They arrived at the time specified and worked very neatly and in an organized fashion. We would absolutely recommend Wilson Brothers for any Heating/AC needs."
Three of the five heads are marked by the numbers in the blue circle. On the inside of the house is where you will find the mounted units. The slim ducts run alongside the white arrows and will eventually be covered to match the exterior of the house.
The slim ducts in the basement ceiling that connect from the branch box all the way to the 5 different heating and cooling units. These will be covered by the ceiling tiles once the job is finished.

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Prioritize electrical work in Milford if you notice safety concerns—like outdated panels, frequent breaker trips, or missing GFCI outlets in kitchens and bathrooms. These issues should be addressed quickly to meet code and reduce fire risk. Upgrades like smart switches or outdoor lighting can usually wait. If storms are forecasted, consider backup power solutions sooner, as NH weather can make electrical reliability more urgent.

Helpful?

In Milford, electrical updates may impact systems like HVAC, well pumps, or sump pumps. Before starting a project, check which appliances share circuits or rely on electrical upgrades. Watch for warning signs such as flickering lights or tripped breakers after changes. If your home uses well water or septic, ask your electrical contractor to review all connected systems to avoid disruptions and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Helpful?

Upgrading your electrical system in Milford can make your home more appealing to buyers and increase its value. Projects like panel upgrades, adding smart home wiring, or installing GFCI outlets show your home is modern and safe. Buyers in Milford often look for homes with updated, code-compliant electrical work, so these improvements can set your property apart and make it more market-ready.

Helpful?

The timeline for electrical projects in Milford varies by scope. Simple jobs, such as replacing outlets or switches, are often done in a few hours. Larger projects, like panel upgrades or generator installations, may take one to three days. Whole-home rewiring or major renovations can last over a week. Permit approval and winter weather can also affect scheduling, so discuss timing with your electrical contractor early on.

Helpful?

Unexpected costs in Milford electrical projects can include repairing walls after wiring access, upgrading grounding systems, or meeting new electrical code requirements. Permit and inspection fees may apply, and older homes sometimes need asbestos or knob-and-tube wiring addressed. If your project involves well pumps or backup generators, extra coordination may be needed. Planning for these possibilities with your electrical contractor helps avoid surprises and keeps your project on track.
