"We just bought a new house and ripped up all the carpet in the downstairs.  We found that under some of the carpet there was already hardwood flooring, but it was not in good condition.  We wanted to compare prices for putting all new hardwood vs just sanding and refinishing what was there, and only installing new wood where it was absolutely necessary.  Bill told us that the wood in part of the house was a good quality wood, and he said he had a few pieces of it that he could use to patch the unrepairable areas, and then he could sand and refinish it all.  We also had him install new hardwood in two of the rooms.  We had been a little nervous about the patching, as we got a few estimates, and everyone who came in told us that a different type of wood was needed.  We are VERY pleased with the way the floors look.  The areas that were patched look perfect, and the wood that we thought was "not in good condition" looks as good as new.  The new hardwood that they installed is absolutely beautiful."

However, I when I booked them I told them I’d want them to come back weekly until the house sold...getting them to respond and schedule the next week was a nightmare, so I gave up. From the initial contact with Angie’s List, through to her helping me clean after moving out, she been amazing. We talked on the phone so I could tell her exactly what I needed, and she stopped by later that day to see my house and give me a free quote. We scheduled her to come for the first cleaning that week, and she did a phenomenal job — she cleaned stuff the other cleaners missed, which I didn’t catch until I saw her doing it. After that, she came weekly until my house sold. She even came back the night the movers took everything out of the house and cleaned the floors, cabinets, etc. The house looked spotless and my real estate agent was so impressed, she scheduled her to do work for her other clients. He personally comes to the house and explains what he is going to do and what he is going to put down. He goes through the individual steps. It is amazing. They put the little styrofoam blocks underneath the furniture to keep it from staining the carpet if there is any water or metal. They are very careful about everything. They are very good about telling me to take anything valuable out of the room. They also tell me to remove pets or any creatures that might bite them from the area. They are wonderful."
