Lou Topia Hardwood Flooring

Hiring Lou and his son was was the best choice I could have made to refinish my dining room floor. Not only did they do an excellent job on my soft, wide board, pine floor, they sealed off the room and no dust got anywhere else in my house. He always showed up when he said he would, and most importantly to me, he was able to do the job around my schedule. He worked with me so that I could take the least amount of time off from work as possible, and I truly appreciated that.

Lou fit me in on a pretty tight schedule and had the floors looking amazing by the time I moved in. The hardwood floors have new life, breathe light into the rooms, and are my favorite aspect of the house to show off.

Working with Lou on our wood floors was great! After buying our home we wanted to have all of the wood floors refinished before moving in. Lou was able to work in our short timeline and provide a beautiful finished product!

Lou and his son did an outstanding job refinishing our entire first floor. They work extremely well together and are very knowledgeable about the whole process. The advise Lou provided before beginning the sanding was invaluable (tape kitchen cabinets, remove curtains, cover lights, chandeliers And etc). Bottom line It made clean up so much easier. Lou was very professional and was always double checking his work along every step of the way, which is why I believe they look better now than when they were new. Lou vacuumed and cleaned in between coats and my house always looked clean before he left each day. Lou was the second flooring professional that Iâ ve used to refinished floors and he was far better than the original contractor. I highly recommend Lou. His attention to the details and quality of work are exceptional.

Lou and his son did a fantastic job refinishing the floors of our upstairs. Lou have a very fair price and the work was high quality. The best part of the work was how quick they were, finishing all three coats of finish in a couple days.

Our oak floors were starting to get very dry, especially in the kitchen where every water droplet was starting to cause dark spots. We hired Lou to sand and refinish. He walked me through every step, took excellent care of my new home (made sure everything was protected before sanding and all cleaned after sanding), checked in daily with progress updates and simply did an amazing job! Lou and his son, Steven, are professional, prompt, thorough and clean up! In a bind where we had to drop another contractor, Lou was available and willing to take on a last minute job that was completed on time and worth every penny. Lou is very nice to work with, and extremely professional. He calls when he says he will call, and is always on on time. He and his son are very pleasant and we would hire him again in a second! They refinished to bedroom floors for us and they came out beautifully. And something that can be difficult to find these days, he is honest! We had some areas that had been damaged by pets, and he warned us he may not be able to completely remove them - but he did. The floors are gorgeous now. They really do amazing work.

Lou and his team were quick clean and professional. Sanded and refinished 4 rooms that had not been done in many years and they honestly look almost new. Fantastic work and he always checks in so you are never left guessing what is happening.

I hired Lou to sand and refinish 5 rooms. The floors hadn't been touch in years and I wasn't sure what to expect. Lou came and gave me an honest assessment of the work involved and what my expectations should be. I'm happy to say that those expectations were exceeded. The floors came out great!
