Small business, specialized in installation/sanding. I have been working in the area for about 5 years. We offer a great price as soon as you have contact. I stand out in the quality of work, because I respect the client's money and do it as if it were at home.

"Updating my reviews from Oct. 2023. Discovered RC Construction on Angie List. They did upgrades to my home in Weare, NH less than a year ago in 2023. Worked directly with "Eric". Started out good then they quit on me. Promised to show up with his crew and frequently a no show for months. Installed flooring wrong, after a couple months all the flooring buckled looks terrible, said he fixed it - again a no show. I recommend staying away from this contractor. Now he does not answer phones or text message. Very unprofessional and not credible. Total project over $40K."

we specialize on bringing your old furniture back to life, by dedicating time and patience, using high quality material to complete every job. our most important thing is to have a happy customer that why we concentrate on doing a job exactly how our customer want. we been in business for 18 years serving our area, me and my brother work together hand to hand to operate as a small business and serve our clients.

"Juan refinished my teak patio table and 6 chairs which had been badly neglected. I wasn't sure they could be brought back to life. But Juan restored the patio set beautifully, at a very fair price. This was not an easy job - the chairs backs were slatted and difficult to sand. The before and after pictures show the outstanding job he did, including some minor repairs to the chairs. The pick up service was especially helpful - teak is heavy! I'd use him again in a heartbeat."

Hardwood Flooring questions, answered by experts

While many hardwood floors can last decades with proper maintenance, choosing a harder wood type, like hickory, can help extend the life span of your hardwood floors and reduce the amount of maintenance needed to keep them looking new and shiny. Softer hardwoods, like walnut, may not last quite as long as other types.

Raising a sunken living room requires help from a professional contractor. The expert will remove existing flooring and trim, reroute utility lines with respect to the new floor level, pour concrete to fill the recessed space, and then let the concrete cure. After the foundation is raised up, the contractor will install the new utility lines, repaint the walls, if necessary, and finish the area with flooring and trim.

There are many different types of carpets for you to choose from. When choosing a carpet, it’s essential to consider the following:

  • Fiber: Describes what your carpet is made of, such as polyester, wool, nylon, or acrylic.

  • Pile type: Explains how your carpet looks. Your carpet fibers can be looped, twisted, cut, or woven.

  • Pile height: Describes the length of your carpet. You can choose a low, medium, or high pile.

  • Density: Refers to how close yarn fibers are to each other.

Hard materials like wood or vinyl flooring on stairs can look great but can also be slippery, posing a risk of injury. On the other hand, carpet often has much more traction, is a lot softer and cushioned, and is still aesthetically pleasing. With all this in mind, carpet is the ideal choice for stairs.

Since carpet can be expensive to install and choosing a new carpet can seem daunting, it’s important to know when to repair your existing carpet versus replacing it.

If the damage to your carpet Is extensive, such as large sections needing to be replaced, it might be best to replace it. Likewise, if your carpet damage is due to water damage, it might be best to replace the entire carpet to avoid mold problems. Consider repairing your carpet when the damage is localized to one spot or when the damaged carpet is in a low-traffic area of your home.
