"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

I've been around home building, remodeling, and repair since I was old enough to climb onto a roof. I started by roofing with my father as a teenager and worked my way up to running my own business. I've built three 2000+ square foot custom homes and a 40'x60' shop with my father general contracting. I have been running my own independent contracting business for four years now. I've remodeled everything from entire 2000+ square foot office buildings down to closets and understand the ins and outs of material pricing, code requirements, and aesthetic appeal. I have vast experience and specialize in concrete, framing, sheeting, drywall, finish work. I even have experience with decking, fencing, sone veneer, and pond instalment. I especially enjoy custom tile work, kitchen/bath remodels, family room remodels, and pond instalments. You can expect timeliness, fair prices, and attention to detail when going through me.

Bow windows need support because they are large and extend out from the exterior wall of the home. Bow windows may extend 1 foot to several feet from the outside of the home, so you’ll need to provide additional support to handle this weight. A window contractor will be able to provide the proper amount of support for your new bow window.

Enhances property value, ensures safety, and provides a sound basis for future construction.

Stick frames, metal frames, or prefabricated concrete frames are included in framing a house, along with creating the framework and space for windows, doors, and entryways. Other aspects of developing a home—like drywall, insulation, windows, doors, and more—are not included in the cost to frame a house.

When deciding whether to use nails or screws for framing, the specific needs of the project must be taken into account. Nails have long been the go-to option for framing due to their affordability, ease of installation, and ability to withstand shear forces. They are perfect for structural framing projects where fast assembly is essential. In contrast, screws offer exceptional holding power and are particularly useful in situations requiring increased strength and resistance to pull-out forces. For projects that prioritize accuracy and long-lasting quality, screws may be the preferred option, though nails remain a dependable and efficient choice.

Yes, you can hang picture frames, shelves, and other items on Trusscore panels. For lightweight items (less than 30 pounds), the company recommends using adhesive strips rather than nails or screws. However, you’ll need to secure heavier objects to a stud in the wall. In these situations, Trusscore recommends cutting away the panel material and fastening the object to the stud with metal hardware.
