Excellent work. Fair pricing. John and his team were great to work with. They showed up exactly when they said they would for the estimates and started the work exactly when they said they would start. Work was completed quickly, everything was cleaned up and the fence is great. I would highly recommend

  • Superb Fencing Company
I was very impressed with Superb Fencing and would recommend them to anyone. When I requested a quote I heard back the same day. It took a week to hear back from other companies I had contacted. Casey kept me updated throughout the entire process, he called me before our scheduled appointments, arrived on time, and answered any and all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and has a great team behind him. The process was stress-free, and once construction started the fence was completed within a week. I installed a wooden fence and it looks great, I couldn't imagine it any better

  • Superb Fencing Company
I would definitely hire Superb Fencing again! They were timely, professional, and the fence looks great. I live out of town and worked with them online and with phone calls on a rental unit. There was a "hiccup" with one of the post holes but the crew handled the situation with expertise. Thanks KC and crew

  • Cbarr Fencing
Contacted CBARR and they said they would come to give me an estimate on a Saturday at 11a. At 11:15a I messaged them again to see if they were coming and they finally got back to me at 10:30p and said, "Nope, we are a flake." Who does that?! Just wanted to let you know what kind of people you may be dealing with

  • TaylorMade Construction, Enterprises
The Pros: They were the first to contact us back, I called or emailed about 8 fencing people in the area and didn't get a return call this fall. Then I came on Angi's and Mike from Taylormade called that night and came out the very next day to bid the job. I cut a check for half the amount, they cashed it the next day, said they could start right away. The guys who came to work on the fence were eventually, were all very nice and polite. The Cons: We were told they could get the fence installed in middle Nov, didn't hear from them so I called, they said their auger was broken, so it would be Dec, I waited for 20 more days, called for an update they said sorry they didn't have the guys right now to do the job but would the week of Christmas; didn't happen. We got fence posts put in in Jan and I had to call 10 days later to ask when the rest of the fence would be put up. They came the next day after I said "a discount would go a long way to alleviating my frustration" which probably would have bumped them up a star in the end because waiting 3 months for a fence that was supposed to be done in a week or two isn't ideal. They knocked on my door for the second half of the payment before I got a chance to even inspect the fence. I found 2 tools and fence pieces in the yard, the fence is bent out of shape in one spot. I am a really simple, very easy-going person, not an ax-grinding review writer but since I decided to use them based on their reviews, I feel like I should. I didn't mind waiting for the fence but I wish I was called with updates, instead of continuously initiating communication. Tools break, trucks break down, people get covid, all of that is understandable but I feel like my business wasn't valued and I had to be a raging 'Karen' to get my fence installed and I suspect if I hadn't called or eventually asked for a discount (I still paid the full amount) I still might not have a fence

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
