In two days concrete will be poured for the garage floor, yet Randy's' hasn't removed the sprinkler heads. I spoke with the general contractor today who expressed frustration about having contacted Randy's multiple times and is still unable to get them to do what is being asked. I phone Randy's today at the general contractor's request. The secretary who answered said, "Well, they've been out there twice." To which I responded, "Yes, but haven't done what has been asked." She transferred me to Randy himself, who said he was waiting for our general contractor to let him know when everything has been marked. I explained to him, it all has been marked for 3 weeks. His attitude was so short and rude, I asked him if it was a problem to do as I was asking. He's sending someone out today to remove the sprinkler heads. I phoned the general contractor to explain what I had been told by Randy. From my perspective, Randy or an employee is covering up their lack of response to the general contractors requests. Unfortunately, we have already paid for their annual program which helps to cover parts and labor. Unless we see a change in professionalism and responsiveness, we won't use them in the future. McElroy Sales Consultant Michael Wadsley met with me and we discussed prices and benefits of replacing not only the furnace but an aging outside central air unit. I was very happy with the price quotes and deal that we made plus the fact they were able to get a crew over to start the very next day for day 1 of 2. Brian and Bryan arrived at about 7:15 AM and immediately laid down sheets/cloths to cover the area inside the house and stairs to the basement to catch any dirt or debris which my wife and I were both impressed with. Both guys were very nice and friendly, got right to work and the next thing I noticed was how particular they were as to work ethic plus wanting things to look good. They left about 4 PM and made sure we had heat but did not leave until they cleaned up after themselves and put things away. The new A/C unit had also been placed outside on a new pad and the old concrete one removed. Again, I was impressed by the consideration and respect they had for my home. The second day Phil and one of the "Brians/Bryan" arrived at around 8:30 AM (both days they showed up and left when they said they were going to) laid down the cloths/sheets again and went to work finishing up on the furnace, gas lines, duct work and lines for the AC unit. Because it is December, someone will be back in April or May to hook up the AC unit and I knew all of this prior. Before the guys left, Phil wnet over a few things with me in regards to the furnace filter and the thermostat. Before they left they did a thorough inspection of everything and again picked up after themselves and probably left my furnace area cleaner than before they started. Very, very happy with this experience. It was a pleasure doing business with people who are courteous, polite, friendly, particular and professional. "We requested some landscape work to be redone. Said in our original request back on April 23rd that we would like it done in the next 2 weeks. This person was to start on may 5th. We received a message saying he was not going to be able to start until May 12th. His attendance was spotty at best and very inconsistent. Working only between 4-6 hours when he did show up. Would work 2 hours be gone for 4 then back for an 1.5 hrs. Very inconsistent. This has gone on for the past 3 weeks. He contracted with us for 64 hours, at the rate we are going it will be the end of June before he finishes. We have tried talking with him a couple of different times regarding these issues, with no result. He left our garage door open when we left him working one Friday morning, told him we were heading out of town for a graduation, to just close the door when he was done working. My daughter drove by at noon and found our door open, he was nowhere to be found so she closed it. There was never any communication unless we were the ones to initiate it. Asked him several times for an agenda, as to when and for how long we could expect him on any given day. He rarely followed through on what he told us. It felt as if our job was not the priority. That he would fit us in here and there for an hour or two. The quality of his work was good, however, his communication, consistency, the lack of ability to get the job done in a timely fashion (the two week period that was requested in the initial request) his attitude, demeanor and disrespectful way he yelled at my husband and myself was atrocious!!!! Telling us we should of had it done in March, it was never done correctly in the first place, he even was cursing at us, because we told him he could work till he fulfilled his 64 hours. That we would be done at that point, even if the job was not completed. He told us he was doing a hell of a job for us and we didn't respect him. We had high hopes for this person and we were happy to give him the work. He just never really behaved as if he actually wanted the work. You get to a point where you just have to stop the bleeding and we were there with him."

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Grand Island, NE
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
