Recent Irrigation System Reviews in Grand Island

They do great work. I had them install an underground sprinkler system. They use quality Hunter heads at a reasonable price. The crew was hard working and the owner was very pleasant. When they were finished you could hardly notice they had used equipment on the lawn. I am very pleased with the quality work. Highly recommend!! read less

This provider was recommended by my landscaper, there were a few issues but overall the best customer service I have ever received. After the initial installation of the system there were a few minor leaks but nothing extreme and they were fixed right away. After my sod was put in and running the system for about a week I started having issues with my system. My system started coming apart at joints in the water lines. After the first one came apart the owner came right over, driving 45 minutes at 7:30 in the evening to fix the issue, and before they even started work the owner gave me my check back and said to give it back to them when I was satisfied with the system, because they weren't. Over the next few weeks there were around 5 or 6 more breaks in the lines causing a lot of water to run out. Finally the owner was fed up with the problems, due to inexperienced summer help, and had the initial installers redo the entire system while watching over them the entire time. Given all the issues I had with the system the owner gave me free maintenance for a year. Even though I had issues with the system I would recommend this contractor to anyone, best customer service I have ever received by a contractor read less

I have used them for about five yrs. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 20; I am completely satisfied with their work. They have treated me right ever since I have been with them. I will use them in the future.

The old control box was almost 20 years old and showing it's age, so since I added an addition to my house the sprinklers needed to be redone and a 10th station added. Dan came right out and installed the new box and made sure I could operate it before he left. We discussed the changes need and hopefully weather permitting he will be able to complete these late this fall. Dan is a "craftsman" in his trade and stands behind his work. He is fair in his prices for services preformed and I will most likely use his services as long as he is in business and I am a home owner. Right now, after a horrible drought and extreme heat my lawn is one of the greenest in this area and I attribute the lawn service and Dan read less

They are very good. The rate is $80 an hour no matter what you get done. When show up, it's going to cost you $80, even if it’s a small job. I think the $80 is a bit on the high side, but I'm not sure that there's anyone else I could call.

He has been my sprinkler guy for a long time! I would say that Dan is a real craftsman. He plans the work, and makes sure it is working right. He asks questions to make sure it is how I like it. He made sure I would get the same coverage that I had before and he replaced fewer heads so that I would have less repairs to make later. He works by himself and he makes sure its exactly right read less

It went well. They did leave some small piles of dirt here and there. They removed a gate to gain access to my backyard. The gate was reattached incorrectly. I had to do a minor adjustment to make the gate operate correctly.

They are punctual, they come when they say they will. Every 3 years we have them do a check on the water supply for the city, for the back-flow. He gives ideas as well as far as how to fix things.

  • Randy's Sprinkler Systems
We have a general contractor who is attempting to work with Randy's Sprinklers to remove sprinkler heads in the way of the garage and driveway and map where new lines will need to run. Both the garage and driveway have been flagged for 3 weeks, sod have even been removed. Randy's sent out an employee on two occasions. The first time it was raining and he met with our general contractor who explained what needed to be done, then left not doing anything. The second time he mapped the garage and driveway, but didn't remove the sprinkler heads as requested. In two days concrete will be poured for the garage floor, yet Randy's' hasn't removed the sprinkler heads. I spoke with the general contractor today who expressed frustration about having contacted Randy's multiple times and is still unable to get them to do what is being asked. I phone Randy's today at the general contractor's request. The secretary who answered said, "Well, they've been out there twice." To which I responded, "Yes, but haven't done what has been asked." She transferred me to Randy himself, who said he was waiting for our general contractor to let him know when everything has been marked. I explained to him, it all has been marked for 3 weeks. His attitude was so short and rude, I asked him if it was a problem to do as I was asking. He's sending someone out today to remove the sprinkler heads. I phoned the general contractor to explain what I had been told by Randy. From my perspective, Randy or an employee is covering up their lack of response to the general contractors requests. Unfortunately, we have already paid for their annual program which helps to cover parts and labor. Unless we see a change in professionalism and responsiveness, we won't use them in the future read less

The installation was fine. However, the follow up service was terrible. It was hard to get anyone on the phone, and messages left were not always answered. When they finally did come out to service the system, they had a bad attitude. I felt like I was really putting them out. I am now looking for someone to replace my sprinkler system read less
