CNW Foundation Repair

I am so happy that I had CNW give me an estimate. I had done a lot of research about what I needed because I am not very well versed in home repair topics. I'd had two other companies give estimates but I liked David's approach to waterproofing compared to the other companies. HIs crew are fantastic workers. Very respectful of my wishes. They went above and beyond. I am grateful. Good to see in an age where customer satisfaction seems to have gone way down in most cases. Best of all, the mold smell is completely gone from my basement!

David was very prompt in getting over to the property to get us an estimate and equally as prompt showing up to do the work. CNW is great. They called right away, started and completed the project in a short period of time. That was just in time for a very cold snap. No more frozen pipes.

We had a tough job - not a cookie-cutter job that could be handled by a franchise "system" repair. We contacted two of the big-names in regional foundation repair. One flat-out said they would not do the job, and didn’t even bother coming out. The other came out and said the only thing he could recommend was a partial fix with the system that his company was a franchise for. When I called Dave and he came out and looked over the project, it was totally different. He took time to examine everything. He came out a second time with his crew foreman, and they looked over everything, and took the time to figure out how to do the project effectively and efficiently. There were several options for us to take, and he candidly discussed them with us – the benefits and costs of each option. It was obvious they had worked on complicated projects before. They were able to think on their feet – not just plug in some canned workflow handed to them from someone sitting in an office. Dave also gave me references to call about his work – very useful. He was also willing to come out for yet another visit to review my last round of questions before signing the contract and starting the work. It was a big project – took about 4.5 weeks, but exactly how long he had predicted. His crew was great – hardworking and got the job done right. Their excavations were extensive, but had minimal impact on our property and house. They operated the skid-loaders and mini-excavators with surgical precision. Block-work, concrete work, and carpentry was all done very well. They were super-careful around our plumbing, wiring, and HVAC – no issues. Dave also showed up regularly to check on progress, answer my questions, and adjust a few things. Everything was done right – that’s the best thing I think can be said for a contractor – it was done right, in the right way. I HIGHLY recommend CNW for foundation work.

From Dave arriving early for our first appt, to him explaining what needed to be/how it would be done, to them finding a way to get us in before Christmas. I needed an egress window and Dave was a great help from the beginning. Free estimate included a thorough explanation of what they would do and he was willing to work with my budget and time frame. The guys who did the actual work were quiet and efficient. The finished window is great!
