Both were single family homes with basements that had major water intrusion issues. The owner, Steve, is very knowledgeable and professional, with a lot of experience in this space despite being a fairly new company. The first project was to install the perimeter system in an unfinished basement of a split level home which would get significant water intrusion every time there was a heavy rain. The process involved jack-hammering out and removing the existing concrete foundation from the perimeter wall to about 1 foot away from the wall, all the way around the entire basement. Then there was perforated PVC drain tile installed along with gravel to assist with drainage and allowing the water to channel over to a sump pump, where it would then be pumped out of the house through a PVC pipe extending away from the house. After the drain tile and gravel were installed, new concrete was then poured to replace what was removed. This process took about a day and a half to complete, and has worked great for the past several months. The next project involved the same thing, but was at a home close to the water by Lake Manawa. This home has had some really bad water problems in the basement during rains. Steve completed the same process as above on this home. About a month went by, and the tenant at this home called me to let me know that the basement had some water in it. So I contacted Steve to inform him of the issue (which was caused primarily by improper grading at the home and a really high water table). He and his workers were back over to this house within 2 days and installed an additional 80 feet of drain tile in the foundation to help alleviate the pressure and seepage issues. He did all of the extra work for no additional charge and completed it 2 days after I let him know about the issue. I could not be happier with the service I have received from Quality Foundation Repair. I will absolutely use them again in the future and have recommended them to multiple people.

Went quickly, pro repaired a 2" PVC to copper downstairs. Done in an hour or less. Renter's hadn't reported the small leak, Backlund had been out the week before to camera the main line and auger the upstairs toilet. At that time, the eagle-eyed technician noticed a bucket behind the dryer...

This hybrid design combines the penetrating power of concrete with the long-term durability of steel, providing a longer, deeper more secure repair. We also offer drainage and root barriers to help prevent foundation damage. Schedule a free, no-obligation assessment now. Your home’s structural integrity depends on the strength of your foundation. It supports everything else – walls, windows, floors, doorways, roof – so when your foundation is damaged, it can cause serious problems throughout your home. Like most things in life, your foundation is subject to environmental stress. Expanding and contracting soil, excessive moisture and inadequate drainage are some of the most common threats to your home’s foundation. Over time, environmental stressors can cause a foundation to shift, crack or settle unevenly. And homeowners often miss early warning signs of foundation damage. Homeowners spend about $4 billion annually stabilizing faulty foundations, and those costs may increase as more homes are built in areas known for shifting soil. Understanding risk factors and signs of foundation problems can help you protect your most valuable asset from irreversible damage.
"Terrible service, our front was sinking due to our fireplace. We got a quote ($28,000), for their "patented" footings - enormous metal poles under each of the house supports for the front. Pretty slick snowjob, they quoted us 3 days but took 5. They dumped all the concrete they removed in the backyard without asking and left an enormous hole in the front of the house where the fireplace is. When I (5'1" femme) asked to speak to a supervisor about the delay and dumping, they sent a good old boy (300 pds, 6'2") to scream at me in my living room. No supervisor was present to verify the work and I was not permitted to watch them. They pressured me to sign the inspection form, without me inspecting anything. They are a SCAMMMM! I would only recommend Olshan as revenge."

FAQs for basement leak repair projects in Fremont, NE
The cost to finish a basement is $18,400 for the average homeowner. However, this cost could be as little as $2,800 or as much as $34,500, depending on the basement size and the materials needed. If your basement is already outfitted with electrical and plumbing, expect the cost to fall on the lower end.
For example, the drywall cost for this project averages around $1,750, but other features, like hiring a plumber, cost between $45 and $200 per hour.
The cost to remodel a basement is between $12,100 and $33,400 for the average homeowner. The price you pay can be as little as $3,500 or as much as $50,200, depending on the size and condition of your basement and the type of remodel you're doing.
If you're doing a simple project like adding a home office to your basement, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $3,000. However, if you're adding a bathroom, which is an extensive project, you can expect to pay between $6,600 to $16,500.
Damp proofing and waterproofing are both methods to help keep your basement dry. Damp proofing keeps soil moisture from entering your basement, which is helpful since your basement is underground. Waterproofing, however, keeps both soil moisture and liquid water out of the basement, which is essential, especially if you live in a wet environment. Because it’s more protective, waterproofing typically costs more than damp proofing.
Although homeowners often use the terms basement remodeling and basement finishing interchangeably, they are quite different terms.
Finishing a basement is the process of taking a basement space that is not habitable and adding elements to make it usable. This includes adding plumbing, flooring, and insulation.
Remodeling a basement means taking an already existing finished basement and changing it, often by adding or removing walls, adding plumbing, or changing the existing flooring.
The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.
If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
